Overall a good hotel.

Its a good hotel ,located near to the market that I wanted to go. Good staff, comfortable and all. I will only mention the negatives:except a McDonald's and a subway I could not find a restaurant nearby that I could dare to dine in it. And the breakfast was very basic.

It was great coming back againbto this wonderfull little jewel ifeal for business. Walking distance from all markets
Super clean, Wonderfull, professional friendly english speaking staff
Nice chinese good breakfast
Fruit. Bread. Free style eggs. Juice.coffe.tea. vegetables .rice. etc

I change to xhinghe 2 years ago because elan was more expensive but its woth every penny

I must start with the pros of this hotel.

Location is very good with many stores and underground wholesaler's shops near by. The staff has very limited English but very nice and friendly as most of the Chinese people .good average breakfast eggs and toast juice and coffee.

The cons -the carpets of the hallways are beyond filthy and stairs .beds are extremely hard ,mind you beds in China are hard but the beds in this hotel were like sleeping on concrete .

The smell outside of the main door of the hotel was the worst I ever smelled in my entire life .horrible smell of sewer I pobrably had the worst view from my room.

Overall I will not stay here because the lack of sanitary conditions .but the hotel has great prices and very nice staff.

Affordable and Clean

For me, my room is very clean. However, I don't like the glass door of the toilet. Not very comfortable if you're staying with your friends.

Pros:
Near shopping complex and easy to get muslim food nearby.
Staff was very helpful.

Cons
There's no wifi and you have to use the computer at the lobby.
Breakfast is very simple. Not much variety.

I STAYED IN FEBRUARY 2013
This is my 5th time in China, everytime in different hotels to see the difference. BELIVE ME THIS HOTEL IS WORTH IT
ITS VERY AFFORDABLE, nice chinese breakfast, super friendly and nice staff. Small Rooms, but very clean and modern
staff will help you in everything they can VERY GOOD LOCATION next to market and central Guanghou station
