Close to the Train Station - And That's It Folks!!
BrisbaneKiwion 24/03/2017 00:41We were a couple in our 50's travelling with suitcases - and during our 8 day Swiss fact finding tour we required hotels relatively close to the train station - and this one was about a five minute walk away and reasonable easy to find.
We arrived mid afternoon and were able to check in before heading off to our main destination Zermatt (accommodation within Zermatt very expensive due to it being the start of the weekend).
We did not feel welcomed at all at this place - perhaps he was put off by our not wanting to pay an additional SwF 20 a person for his breakfast.
Probably the best thing he did for us was to look after our bags on the check out day as we returned again to Zermatt to go up the top by train. However I was not impressed that they were simply put into the lounge room area that was accessible by any guest.
Upon returning from Zermatt I asked to use the lobby bathroom - and found there was only cold water (the hot water tap had been plumbed so that it would not turn on).
Our room was in another building next door. No kettle facility to make tea/coffee. Very basic - and expensive for what it was. And he wanted payment up front at check in time - all other hotels we used in Switzerland were quite happy for us to pay the following morning.

Sanil Kon 22/03/2017 00:29Stayed there for 1 night, it's close to tasch station may b 5 mins walk. Rooms big n clean.bathroom good. I am not happy with the pillows. Rooms have mountain view. Booked for breakfast, but disappointing not worth. V had just croissants and a cup of juice.

andersonangryon 21/02/2017 09:20Hotel is close to the Tasch railway station which is excellant. Room had a patio and clean but I feel the hotel needs to be renovated and updated. Breakfast was provide with limited choice.
No Restaurant t in the hotel and in winter had to walk down the street. Would not stay again

We had great rooms, spacious and clean. The temperature was great and bathrooms were also clean. People were very helpful and kind. We had Wi-Fi in our rooms. It's great that they have parking space and ski room. And they are close to the train station to Zermatt. I had nothing to complain about. Thanks Elite Hotel.
Good value for money
Rebecca Don 18/01/2017 08:09I spent a night in this hotel when visiting Zermatt. It's located about 50 meters from the train station, which is really convenient and a great value for money. We booked it on the day and it was CHF 120.- for the 2 of us, the parking for the day and the 2 breakfasts. The rooms are very simple but comfortable. The breakfast was lovely, a quite well furnished buffet.
I'd recommend this hotel.
