We stayed for 7 days.
Our stay was enjoyable.

Certainly some things can be improved as you have to ask for EVERYTHING and staff never ask if you need anything. Hospitality is a bit lacking.

Wish they had a restaurant - more money for them. I mean, they all were eating every day so they could cook more and offer it to guests. Even offering coffee or tea - not that hard to make and again more money for them.

It's a 45 seconds walk to the beach and about 10 minute walk to the main road and cheap restaurants there.

Would stay again

Pros:
1) Only location.

Cons:
1) What they advertise is not what you get. Examples:
a) Room had TV but reception made it unwatchable.
b) Room had refrigerator but black mold on inside and outside of door. Was unplugged from electricity so freezer had defrosted and leaked inside and outside onto floor. Floor was not cleaned. Which gave the room the smell of mold.
c) Did not have safe in room but they went and found one to put in room. Safe not secured so could easily be carried away.
d) Room had large opening to outside that was not screened allowing free access to insects such as mosquitos.
2) No one around if you need help. People who claim to be staff coming to help with no shirt and sitting on rail while others work in your room. Not a comfortable/friendly environment.

Could be a great little hotel if properly managed.

Cheap with good location

Located 1 minute walk from the beautiful beach. We were looking for somewhere cheap which is very hard to find on this island. Paid 1500peso per night. Double bed, tv, air con, hot water. Nothing fancy but met our needs and is close enough to everything. 2 doors down is a restaurant that serves 2 for 1 cocktails everyday all day :)

Owner not to good not to bad. He smiles only when you pay . They did not clean room during our stay. We spend here almost 3 weeks. They changed our towel , but it would be better if they would not. Our new towel was stinking so much , we could not use it. Internet connection was not best. Plus is good location, close to the beach . Roof had AC but to turn in on you have to pay extra 300 pesos.

Clean, comfortable, decent price

Its located down past station 3, here the beach is quieter and calmer, water is more clear so the location is perfect if your seeking that.
To find this place you need to find a small alley way, keep an eye out for signs that advertise 'Dave's straw hat inn' there's a few options in this tight area but I think Escurrel Inn is the best option. It's about 40 seconds walk off the beach.
Rooms have a fridge and TV, comfy bed with hot and cold shower. Air con is optional. Have a kitchen downstairs which was used.
Price was in our backpacker range so overall can't really complain.
Would recommend!
