Best mid-range option in Bishkek
Richard Fon 22/05/2017 13:12We moved here from the Soviet-style Dostuk which we found depressing, and for about the same price got an excellent, spacious, modern room which we found far more comfortable. The breakfast buffet is better quality than most found in Central Asian hotels.
Very kind staff and comfortable hotel.
Marc Gon 17/05/2017 20:32I reserved 6 rooms to visit Kyrgyzstan with friends. The hotel was conform to the high class category. We had to leave early the hotel because of the hour of departure of the flight. The reception organized a earlier breakfast for us. It was very kind.
Great Staff and Location
Jon Ron 02/05/2017 09:03Staff were helpful – let me checkin at 05:00 in the morn and let me have breakfast. Suggested good Bazaar to go to (Ortosay rather than Osh - I had been a little concerned about going to Osh due to reports of police shaking-down tourists). No problems at Ortosay, don't think I even saw a cop - place was HUGE with everything you could imagine.
Hotel has couple of PCs that guests can use.
Free Airport pickup and drop-off service.
Room was good size despite the column in middle of the room. Set off by the white crocodile skin wall covering.
Breakfast options are pretty good.
Restaurant for dinner is OK - though I do highly recommend the Mushroom soup.
There is a Chinese restaurant right next to it - though I did not try it. Navat Restaurant is very good and only about 1 1/2 blocks up the road - great choice of local foods with Eng menu.
Hotel not far from Ala-Too Sq and several other buildings and parks.
Great staff - nice mid-range hotel
Shawn Con 19/03/2017 19:11The staff of this hotel was exceptional - great front desk staff. My first room had no hot water but it was immediately rectified, by moving me to a different room. Do keep in mind, the rooms are not lavishly appointed - spartan really - but functional. The food at the hotel is fairly limited, but you can order take away - and the front desk will help you place those orders.
The hotel restaurant wasn't open for food at dinner - but it is open for breakfast. The breakfast is quite scant as well. Honestly, I would go back just for the staff! I felt very welcomed and comfortable in this hotel - mostly because of the staff.
There are non-smoking rooms, but smoking is allowed in some rooms (you can still smell it). Do note that in Kyrgyzstan, it is still allowed and perfectly acceptable to smoke indoors.
My Home in Bishkek
Neky Kon 23/02/2017 15:06Funny enough that I spent my whole week here. The staffs are very friendly and handsome both women & men. Even the the Kyrgyz people whose not working in the hotel were genuinely helpful and nice that they were willing to help with my heavy bags. What a charming society. I enjoyed every single breakfast. The kefir, the cheese cake, almonds, and variety types of meats, some I am not sure what is the name. I don't care as long it is yummy and halal. The handsome waiter will serve me a very wonderful Americano which tasted far better than in my country. I stayed in 403. The shower a bit clogged, but i still lived with it. The water temperature is not easy to adjust, but I managed. The sauna & spa is on renovation but I tried the 2 nearest (walking distance) very affordable spa which I can't really pronounce the name. Just ask the receptionist they will help. Make sure you bring your own towel and toiletries if you want to go for naked bath in their affordable spa. There are so many great food around and so freaking cheap. I really love my room. I only hope the TV english channel has more options. I bought leather shoes, spectacles, sunglasses, chocolate, and nuts in Bishkek. You should get the chocolate at the market (taxi distance) because it is very cheap and yummy. But make sure it is not melt when reach your hot country. Put it in your carrier bag.
