Great 11 night stay at Evelin! Never would have believed that officially they have just 2 stars because this was probably the best hotel we have visited in Greece. So tripadvisor showed it´s power again when searching for best good priced hotel for our holiday. Manolis and his staff were friendly and helpful, also easiest car rental we have ever had arranged by Manolis. Room was cleaned every day, everything at the room worked well that is not guaranteed in Greece: shower, fridge, cooking gear and wifi (sometimes minor connection problems). We also got excellent room since our balcony was shadowed by a palm tree so it was comfortable to stay at the balcony at any time of the day and very easy to deal with the kids from the poor area when they wanted to be in the room from time to time. For the family holiday the location of the hotel is also very good, there´s Lidl right across the street, neighbourhood is quiet but still short walking distance to restaurants, beach etc. Taxi to Rethymnon for 4 people was 9 euros both ways. I happily recommend Evelin to everybody who appreciate good service and very relaxed atmosphere with good service. Thanks Manolis & co.!

Wonderful place to stay

I have been to crete 3 times before but these apartments were the best i stayed in. They were spotlessy cleaned every day, plenty of space in apartment, and plenty room around the pool. The owner his family and staff were so friendly and would help in any situation. I would deff recommend these apartments to anyone

A great holiday

This was the first time that we had stayed at the Evelin Apartments, despite visiting Crete for over 30 years. We found the apartment complex to be well maintained, the studio apartment lathe, airy and very well furnished, with a microwave, fridge, hob in the kitchen area, a hair dryer, shower gels etc. The free wifi could be temperamental, but this is Greece!
The rooms were cleaned/bins emptied/ bedding and towels changed on a very regular basis. Air conditioning a welcome facility.
The manager, his wife and his staff were friendly, very happy to serve and went out of their way to ensure a happy time was had by all.
We cannot wait to return!

Amazing apartments and holiday!!

I stayed here in august 2016 with my amazing dad Jeff and my son Jayden (6) we had an absolute amazing stay here that we even wanted to extend it longer. The apartments were spotless and beautiful and the pool and grounds where beautiful. The manager and staff were very friendly and nothing was too much for them. We created some amazing memories here in crete and i never thought it would be our last holiday to crete with my dad and son, as unfortunately suddenly he passed away without warning. I want to thank the owners for everything, myself, dad and son had a truly wonderful time, now we are left with the amazing memories and i hope to return one year with my son. Crete is an amazing island and it was my dads favourite place and now ours. Hope to see you all again. Miss Gourd

Holiday of a lifetime!

We chose to stay here for our Wedding in June 2016 and recommended it to our wedding guests too. We are so glad we found it!
The practical details:
- Rooms are large and clean.
- The pool is huge, clean and good for adults and children.
- There is plenty of sunbathing space on the grassed area with lots of loungers and umbrellas
- The bar is well stocked with good prices
- The food is delicious
- The view is beautiful of the mountains

Now for the reasons it is so special:
- The staff are incredible. Manolis and Niki treat you like extended family!
- Nothing is too much trouble, from picking us (and our 9 suitcases) up from the airport, driving us to our wedding ceremony, arranging a hairdresser for our guests they went the extra mile to make our holiday so special.
- Manolis organised a great BBQ night for us all and Niki cooked the most beautiful food.
- They have guests who visit every year as a result of their incredible hospitality and we are happy to say that we will be returning as soon as we can!
