Officious and Incompetent Staff, But Good, Otherwise!
A_Beauceanton 02/08/2017 20:40Greeted front desk clerk as I entered, but she barely gave me a glance and continued in an unfriendly, rudely perfunctory and officious manner. Went to the room and instantly realized something was amiss- beds made, but there was a receipt and key at the foot of the bed. Having booked ahead, I thought they might have already printed my receipt. The receipt was for the "current" occupant and had the person's name and address, how they long he'd been there, etc. all left out for anyone to see. I rang down and was told "Oh, there obviously has been a mistake." (Really? You gave us access to someone else's room, personal details AND belongings!!!)
We went down and were given another room. This time, the key wouldn't work (two people tried). Asked for manager this time, who was very polite and helpful. She took us up to the "third" room and apologized profusely. She confirmed the 2nd door key had to be re-programmed and then made sure the "newest" room key worked. Laundromat at Holiday Inn's offer complimentary detergent, but here it's bought in a vending machine. Continental breakfast was a very limited selection of cereal bars, packaged muffins, coffee and juice (all on a counter in the main, ground-floor hallway!) Too tired to change our booking for the second night, but doubt I'll try this chain again.
Ok for the price
Joan Aon 27/07/2017 23:30They were multiple issues with the room, like a broken shower head that was detaching from the wall, broken sink plug in the bathroom, big red stain on the rug, broken drawer in the fridge, no one offer to fix them, but at least I took pictures and showed the front desk so I wouldn't be charge for them. The room was alright I guess , everything else worked, the pots and pans I was given were very old, the handles were loose and the pan was heavly scratched. For the price it was ok but I wouldn't stay here again. I got the feeling that cleanliness is not top priority and did not feel at home here, most of the staff was very nice, the guy at check out was kind of rude eating while trying to check us out and answer our questions not very professional.

207melissaon 22/07/2017 06:32For what we paid, the hotel was nice. There are a lot of restaurants and a mall nearby. Front desk help was very nice and we enjoyed the visit. Room was clean and was a great value for what we paid for the room.
Dirty rooms/ smokers rooms we didn't get a clean room suite was not on ground level. Wish they clean it instead of me
ronnab431on 19/07/2017 01:20Wish they had gave us the ground floor. That's what we requested. We received another room due to the previous guest were smoking . However they placed us in a very dirty room. I had to clean it myself while visiting my son in the military. Very very dissatisfied

paulhJ4243WZon 09/07/2017 17:20Good location beds are horrible and you always wake up with sinus issues and a scratchy throat. The hotel staff is okay if you end up with the wrong one you won't even get sheets on your bed and asking for them and he will tell you he has more issues than your sheets
