We didn't stay there but stopped by after getting lost trying to find the main road in order to find a bathroom. We had been on the road for hours and stuck in traffic. We will be traveling to this area and through this area multiple times this summer.
I am am adult women, dressed nicely....not bringing children through the lobby - I scanned the lobby and I asked the clerk "I'm just trying to locate the bathroom?". He looked at me and said "it's down". So I waited for further directions wondering "down where". He repeated "its down, not working".
I was surprised by the dismissal and lack of friendly response by the staff. Even if the policy is that the restroom is not available to the public, that could've been addressed kindly. I did not believe him based on his approach.
I worked in the hotel industry as a sales manager and front desk clerk for 10 years. The hospitality industry demands proper people skills. I was very disappointed with this short experience. There are many places to pick to stay. Unfortunately we will not use this facility.
I am sure this property may be nice and they may have other nice staff members.

Since I travel for job reasons & for last 10 years have been staying at ESA hotels in various states. From Nov 2015 until June 2017 I stayed in this hotel because I had a smoking allowed room & it was close to my work, however I was surprised that in the 3 week of June I was told that as of July 1 first hotel will be converting to no smoking hotel & given only a week to decide. I requested 1 month notice but it was denied so I had to rush to find the first available apartment as soon as possible. So based on this experience This was the last time I stayed in ESA & in future look for other hotels & will not recommend ESA to anyone for long stay.

Dead and live bugs in the room.
Broken A.C.. Cobwebs hanging from ceiling. Killed several spiders. Staff was not friendly.
Outside sitting areas were not cleaned through out our 4 night stay. Not worth the money.

Nicely located hotel, very clean. The continental breakfast could be improved a little. But it it an Extended Stay. Perhaps a toaster and hard-boiled eggs would be a nice addition. What was very nice was the close proximity to several fine dinning establishments.

Extended Stay America fit my needs well

I was needing a multi-purpose place to stay while my wife was receiving medical testing. I wanted a cost efficient place to operate from with the ability to have my meals in my room when needed plus have all of the communications elements I needed to allow my time to away from home to be such I could stay in touch with all of those that needed me - business & personal. The free internet was required for me and it was very dependable. The people of ESA were good and the accommodations very adequate. The access to utensils, dishes & cups, a toaster and pans allowed me the option to have meals in when convenient. I would stay again if in the area and I my needs were similar. The breakfast was very basic and could be enhanced with "make your own waffles" with syrup as many hotels have added to basic breakfasts. The mattress was adequate but a bit more plus would be an improvement.
