Quiet stop in Midland
Sentravelor---2on 18/08/2017 04:31Nice, quiet ( though we were there midweek) , well maintained place. Booking service had put us in a lower floor handicap accessible queen room, which we really did not need, even though we are seniors. When we said we usually preferred an upper level room, receptionist upgraded us to an upper level king which we appreciated. Used the pool which was a decent size and well maintained. Not a large bathroom but adequate for the night. Very comfortable bed.

Mike Son 16/08/2017 22:55Nice hotel,clean rooms,nice pool and hot tub.They have a neat double decker bus out front and a very cool collection of miniature double decker busses on display.Near the bus the have an Old English mail box and phone Booth. They have a free Continental breakfast with some yogurt, bagels, Waffles ,cereal and coffee ,and juiceI have seen better Continental Breakfasts but it was better than nothing.The thing I didn't like was they had the windows open in the breakfast area and the area that people smoked were right outside allowing the smoke to come in the windows. Not a big deal if you smoke but I do not like the smell of smoke while eating,or any other time
A Pleasant Stay
Nezrok1on 11/08/2017 22:05Very down-home, Mom and Pop feel at this quiet little hotel. We took full advantage of the pool, jacuzzi, picnic area and nicely appointed breakfast area.
We had family all over Midland and this was centrally located with easy access to great places to eat (Shirlene's as well as the chains) and to I-10.
Disappointed
Tara Hon 10/08/2017 23:29I usually make our reservations and pay for them while my husband is getting our things. They told me my credit card was denied...I told her like she probably heard from anyone who has a card denied that was impossible but I would call the bank. By the time I was off from the phone, my husband had paid for the room. I told her the bank did not decline my card, the motel did and she did not have answers for me, I am a Wyndham Rewards Member and thought they could help me but they also have no answers. Over a month the later I still have no idea why they declined my card, and I will not take the chance of it happening again...So no more Baymont Inn stays for me, my family, or my husband's company crew members.
