Trade-off of space for amenities
FL_foodieon 06/06/2017 00:09This was our second stay at this hotel. We had a better experience the first time, and given all the other options in the area I don't think there will be a third. The condo is huge but hasn't been painted in awhile and there were a lot of little bugs (and one not so little one). The door to the unit is not soundproof at all, and there was a lot of noise from across the hall. There is no staff on the premises so don't expect personal service. We got a last-minute deal thru TripAdvisor so didn't pay the rack rate. It all would have been a lot more discouraging at $400+/night. Still, it now has the feel of a party place for packing in lots of people, so if you don't need a massive space I'd look elsewhere.
Huge
realpatton 06/05/2017 02:38We just had 2 people in our party so it seemed decedent to have so much space. The location is amazing - you can walk to shops and restaurants at Biltmore Village. Loved reading about the history of the hotel. Check in was easy - though not traditional - nor is this a traditional hotel. I enjoyed this much more than a traditional hotel room - especially having all the space.
Amazing!
C3263NRmaryon 01/05/2017 00:48We enjoyed the past 2 days in this beautiful hotel. It's really a large apartment, very spacious and beautifully furnished. It's tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Biltmore Village but within easy walking distance. We will definitely be back. Highly recommend.
Excellent!
1tamon 26/04/2017 01:37Excellent hotel located in Biltmore Village just outside of the entrance to the Biltmore Estate. My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely book at The Posh on our next visit. The units are very spacious with a full kitchen, eating area, living room, two bedrooms, two baths and washer/dryer in the unit. In addition to the bedrooms there is a pullout sofa in the living room. No front desk, instead the code to enter the front door and a separate code to enter your room are texted or can be phoned to you the day of arrival. Fully furnished and decorated including a gas fireplace, this is a perfect spot for extended stays or even shorter visits for a family group too large for one hotel room. Parking is plentiful and free, close to the front door. Restaurants, coffee, clothing, spa, hair salon and more are all within walking distance in Biltmore Village. The only downside we found was the noise at night. Fire trucks with full sirens seemed to pass by at least once a night and we could also hear a lot of tires squealing. The noise is not enough to keep us from coming back but I mention it for anyone who is very sensitive to it.
Our stay at Posh Boutique
Anne Don 16/04/2017 17:57Two issues: being on the bottom floor by the entrance was very loud. We heard people coming in, people above us, people outside. The beds, especially the master, were not comfortable and were old and creaky. Still, the space was huge and clean. The kitchen was lovely. We would have liked to stay longer and would come again.
