Courteous Staff and Comfortable Stay
valavilrajon 23/08/2017 07:57I am a regular guest at Valley View for the last four years. A very good property in Manipal, good location, good food, courteous staff and excellent service. They make you feel at home and go out of the way to make your stay comfortable.
Good staff but bad service

Asked for an iron to press my shirt but got an old iron - probably mire than a decade old!! My new white shirt got spoilt with the laminate peeling off onto my shirt.
Spoke to the general manager and he promised to remedy the gaff. Even after a week no response!!!
Had forgotten a running jersey at the hotel but have been told the staff didn't find anything left behind. Hmmm
Bottomline staff is courteous but not able to handle any slip ups in service delivery.
Be careful with what you ask for.
Nice and comfortable stay
AtulAshrayon 02/08/2017 11:14Very good stay, nicely located, safe, staff very courteous, good breakfast. In all a very pleasant and nice stay. Will definitely look forward to stay there again during my next visit or anyone from my family visiting Manipal.

complimentary use of the sporting facility (Marina) is very useful
Average hotel and not as per ITC standards

We stay here because very limited options are available among 4 star hotels in Manipal and there are no 5 star hotels. Food quality and variety is average, bathrooms very small and toiletries of poor quality. Corridors and lobbies look worn out .Only plus point is that in general the staff is courteous and helpful. ITC management must do something on urgent basis before it affects Fortune brand.
