Maybe it's me
JCulp2014on 12/06/2017 02:27This is the second Four Points I have stayed in. Like the first one, the reviews were so good I was happy to give it a try. First off, there was some confusion with my check-in but the staff was friendly and accommodating. So, I just kept it moving because I had other things to do so it was fine. However, the phone system went down and it made it challenging to call the front desk for room service or to alert them that the toilet was having serious issues. I get that it's a resort town and is laid back, but a working phone and toilet isn't asking too much from a Starwood Hotel is it? It seems like an old facility that could use an upgrade. And one thing this chain does that will keep me from ever staying there again is they don't use full curtains. There's no way to block out light because they only use a sheer dealie over the window. And our room faced the pool which felt like zero privacy. It's not bad if you're desperate but I was ready to leave after my overnight stay.

sjdifon 11/06/2017 01:06The four point sheraton rooms are comfortable and meet the standard expected for the Starwood chain. It is a bit of a drive so plan to stay for a few days to fully enjoy the local area. The downside, it isn't beach front.
Mother's Day stay
emsamon 28/05/2017 21:31My family (me, husband, 2 sons 8 & 3) stayed here for one night Mother's Day weekend. It was a great stay overall! Checking in at 3:00 after spending a chilly day at the beach, we relaxed for a bit and then swam in the pool for most of the afternoon. It was nice and quiet there, and the pool was warm and pretty clean. The room was nice- beds were comfy, everything was pretty clean, and it was comfortable. The a/c unit was quite loud, cycling on and off all night, and we felt like we needed it on low at least to keep some air circulation since our room was one overlooking the pool. Not having a window to the outdoors was a little odd, but the kids loved the balcony overlooking the indoor pool. We ate dinner at the hotel restaurant because it was convenient and we were so tired, and it was ok. Kids woke up and swam in the pool again before checking out. Overall, it wasn't a cheap night, but it was very nice and we will likely do it again in the winter/spring.

Rooms were large, appreciate in room coffee maker and fridge.

Friendly welcome, guided me to a local "best lobsta roll" rest.

Short, comfortable stay
allwhowonderon 22/05/2017 00:50Enjoyed my stay at this hotel in Eastham, MA. My room was very comfortable, attractive and clean. It was located right off a most attractive pool area. The light color bedding was a definite plus! The bathroom was sparkling clean. I did not mind the towels which were not the plushy type, but were very absorbent. Breakfast was good and service efficient and friendly. The hallways were clean as well. Friendly people at the desk. Location on the Cape puts one close to many beaches, restaurants, the Salt Pond Visitor Center and the National Seashore and the Wellfleet Audubon Sanctuary. Would definitely recommend this hotel.
