"Franji house" Three cheers to the owners!!! everybody needs beauty as well as bread. Places to play in and pray in where nature may heal and cheer and give strength to body and soul alike.
Where there is joy. There is creation
Where there is no joy there is no creation
Know the nature of joy.

This place is many advantages rolled into one at the same time. WOW!!! FANTASTIC!!!! CLASSIC!!! ROYAL!!! HERITAGE & HOMELY, the food is fantastic healthy and tasty. the staff is very positive and serve with a smile.

Agr Firdaus ber rue Madras est, hamin ast-O hamin ast-O hamin ast-O.

Keep it up and sincerely hope that soon we can cherish and enjoy the comfort, care and taste of FRANJI HOUSE in delhi - goa and jaipur too.

10/10 Can't be better. Suggest music and power back up and inhouse yoga and tie up for the guests for watching polo and other sports like bull racing and traditional sports. also suggest a flea shop inside the place.

A perfect Blend !

Frangi House is straight out brilliant and nothing short of it. I don’t know whether to call it a Boutique Hotel, Home away from Home, a really well kept Guest House or a Unique experience; its truly a blend of all. A beautiful blend. Tucked away at the cozy Nawab Habibullah Avenue, in immediate proximity of kadal Nawaz Khan Road (an upmarket buzzing and upcoming commercial hub), right in the heart of Chennai City Frangi House exuberates rejuvenating freshness from the very moment one steps’ into its compound. Frangi House Epitomizes calm right in the center of the City’s Hustle Bustle. For me it’s location just does not get any more conveniently startegic. Every place in Chennai from Frangi House is within very convenient reach. The staff is very helpful and homely. A nourishing breakfast ( a new spread everyday) marks the beginning of the day and the other meals are made to order. Frangi House has its fixed Menu but given notice a meal / Dish of the guest’s choice shall be cooked and served steaming fresh. Though the meals are charged extra I know I am assured of a freshly cooked meal and not being served left overs or ‘managed’ food as I have seen fresh vegetables and non veg consumables (as per the guest choice) being brought in fresh every morning. The meals are cooked fresh ! Tea, coffee and snacks are available on order through the day. Meals for my guests have always been prepared as long as I have intimated the Kitchen in advance and my friend’s look forward to me visiting Chennai because they also love the food at Frangi. Laundry service, fresh Linen and toiletries are taken care of by Frangi on a Daily Basis and Taxi services are available on call. Each room, and there are eight of them with two perfectly manicured lawns, are furnished with regal taste clearly reflected in the style, making the experience very unique and plush.
On some of the visits, when I have had time at hand, the staff has been extremely resourceful in getting me guided tours of the Mylapore Temple & Market, Chennai’s famous Flower & Vegetables Market, Vedanthangal Bird Sanctuary, The crocodile Farm & Kanchipuram as well. Of course I am a regular guest and therefore have time to spare at times when the staff helps me manage my ‘touristic’ schedule. And I must also mention that each one of the eclectic Guests at Frangi have been a delight to interact with..sincerely hope they have enjoyed my company as much as I have theirs. The home like ambience at Frangi makes it informal an extremely warm for all its guests. I would credit the staff for the delightful experience I always have at Frangi. Each time I am there I request Shemain, the extremely charismatic owner of Frangi, to open more such places in other cities..Every city deserves a Frangi House. Definitely Recommended!!

a good base for us

we were well looked after. only downside was lack of bottled water. food is good and although the guys didn't have great english they were very willing, especially on the evening when we had a power cut.

Comfort in the heart of Chennai

We stayed here for our first night ever in India (not including a sleepless overnighter in the Bangalore airport). This is a pretty hotel, what in the states we'd call a bed and breakfast. The staff are very accommodating, carrying our bags, bringing us tea on arrival, helping us with taxis and plans to make the most of our few hours in Chennai. I'll note, though, that I was concerned about the safety of the water provided in open pitchers in our room and at meals wasn't clear. I think hotels interested in catering to international travelers should be aware that water safety in a concern and either provide bottled water or be very clear that their water is filtered and safe.
