The amenities included in our stay were by far the best of all the B&B's we've visited. The host was extremely informative and helpful! Location was great and the rooms were so cozy! The weather was a bit chillier for us but we enjoyed a quick walk to find all the bridges and to experience the downtown atmosphere.

20 years ago our group stayed at the Franklin Victorian and enjoyed our stay with the Larsens. They made us feel so welcome. This year being our 20th Anniversary we choose to come back. The new owners (Jennifer and Steve) were as welcoming and great hosts. Love the place and our stay. The Franklin is located close to all the bike trail, downtown Sparta, and easy access to everything you would like to do. Love this place!

My partner and I stayed in the Master Suite and loved this B&B. Jennifer was a great hostess and we were so comfortable here. The breakfast was well balanced and delicious. The room was clean and well maintained. Definitely will stay again if in the area.

Loved the location, quiet neighborhood, easy walk to the down town area of Sparta, lovely accommodations. We enjoyed the large porch, with comfortable seating areas. A special touch is the beverage and snack "bar" in the upstairs hallway for guests. Early morning coffee, tea and home made cookies were delightful. We were surprised and happy to see a small refrigerator available for guest goodies.
Our hosts were very friendly, great breakfasts. It was great that we were able to get our bike passes there too.
Owning a Victorian home ourselves, we loved how this B&B is so well cared for. Perfect family touches, not too many, just enough to get a sense of the family that is caring for this beautiful old home. I would recommend this B&B without hesitation.
I had asked for a cheese and cracker plate to celebrate my husbands birthday on our arrival date. However, we were not going to be able to make it until late so our host graciously held the plate for the next day and we were really happy to see the note that it was in the refrigerator as the snack was perfect after our biking.

The home, Steve & Jennifer, the hospitality were all top notch. The attention to detail throughout the home was impressive. The home cooked breakfast was a special and tasty way to start our day.
The hospitality from Steve and Jennifer was felt immediately upon our arrival. Truly special home and hosts.
