No free internet @ Frederics Serviced Apartments Dantestraße
deepzion 23/05/2017 13:01The reason i selected this place was it had a kitchen so i could cook my own food. There is no reception at the place were we stayed the only way to get in touch with them was using a local number or email.
Good Things first:-
1. Its an apartment so you have your private room and a living room with a flat TV and a nice restaurants just next to it.
2. If you are lucky you can see a socker/rugby game as there is a play ground next to this apartment.
So what i did not like:-
1. No free internet you have to buy ( and then next time when you check in they will give you free internet )
2. The laundry is 2.50Euros and the machine only accepts .50Euros which is frustrating coz sometimes you do not have .50 x 5.
3. The bathroom is small.
4. They would ask you to leave exactly at 11:00 and wont even extend the time for half an hour which i feel is just too much.
5. The lights in the corridor sometimes did not work and it was dark.
6. The lift is too small.
If you are someone like me who is a vegetarian and cook your own food then you can stay at this place however expect all the points that i have mentioned.
Mixed bag
allan1949on 22/05/2017 21:21Excellent location; equipment in room is too high tech and lacks proper operating instructions, room is good; bed is very very comfortable; service is substandard bordering on rude. BUT the worst is that the air conditioning is very very poor. So bottom line , I won't return here.
Badest Wifi Ever
Mike Gon 24/03/2017 18:13The Badest Wifi never worket, the Bed was Broken. The Rooms to Small. I Booket the Biggest not Family Room but it was Poor. The Worker are Arrogant Germans. And dont Care. It was Clean but the Rest was Bad.
Not the best place to stay long term
Kumar Aon 11/11/2016 10:22I was booked in this hotel for staying 2 weeks. Not a great place to stay if you are looking for a comfortable stay. I stayed near Westfriedhof and the location is good. But there are not much amenities around.Also the room was cleaned only once a week.
No reception. Very complicated process of getting the keys. The internet connection is not good enough.
Stay here if you want to stay most time outside room.
A nice stay in a pleasant apartment.
Kelvin Pon 11/09/2016 20:43I stayed in the Dantestraße apartments in a one bedroomed flat on the ground floor. It was clean and comfortable and above all quiet. It also faced east so was cool in the afternoons and to return to in the evenings. The kitchenette had everything necessary to make a simple meal, the coffee maker was very good and they supplied the coffee pods which were topped up when the flat was serviced (twice in a 10 day stay), when the bedding and towels were also changed as well as the flat cleaned. Collecting the key from the safe on arrival was very simple and the washing machine in the basement worked ok. The apartment block is close to both Gern and Westfriedhof U-Bahn stations, the latter also served by buses and normally trams, (not at the moment due to engineering works). The Villa Dante and The Augustiner restaurants either side of the house were both very good. There is a supermarket about 10 mins walk away. A good stay!
