Do not be fooled this is not a Bed and Breakfast hotel as advertised - as you will not be offered or get any form of breakfast. There was no effort made to clean the cobwebs out of the room or put any useable utensils in the kitchen, there was not even a kettle to boil water, and the place was infested with the biggest cockroaches I had ever seen. The hall light has a shortage as the majority of the time it did not come on unless you fiddled with the bulb. The bathroom has no water in the taps so you can't brush your teeth in there or wash your hands after using the loo. This hotel would have better reviews if the owners got rid of the broken down furniture in the bedroom and cleaned it before renting. The only plus would be that you can get wifi and the fan in the room works plus there is a broken down fridge that works. You will be charged for using the washing machine to wash your clothes so beware. All I will say is if you are looking for somewhere cheap to stay this is the place - but remember to pack rubber gloves, cleaning detergents for the kitchen, bathroom and bedroom, oh and don't forget to bring a broom to sweep the floors and blinds for the window as there is no privacy if you are given the room downstairs. You will need to bring a kettle, cups, plates and pans and a microwave if you can fit it in your case as the oven and grill doesn't work if you want to cook breakfast or a meal. The bed is not comfortable it feels like you are sleeping on planks covered by a thin padding for a mattress. You will be given on arrival a set of 4 keys one for the bedroom door, the front door which has a faulty lock and two for the gates around the house but the back door remains unlocked so it sort of defeats the object. The owners are nice people but seem totally clueless in how to run a hotel.

My husband and I booked two rooms at this place in July of this year with our two children, when we went there it was a total turn off, first thing they claimed it was only one room we had booked which was not true. Anyway, we managed to work that hiccup up, but we were totally appalled when they showed us to our rooms. They were terribly stuffy and hot, and seemed as if they hadn't been aired and clean for a while roaches were crawling out from the bathroom sink, of which there was only one for the entire floor. My 8 year daughter was so frightened. Stay away from this dump! We had planned to stay there for 4 days and we ended up checking out the next morning, and was later told we would not get any type of refund for our money. I regretted having to stay there for even that one night.

we just came back from jamaica man a group of us went to newfreedompalace villa at first we try to book this place but when we see the price we say it too good to be true any way we book it because cash was low it was a long day because we are coming from England when we get to the villa i felt sick Dayasheba greet us then she make me a cup of ginger tea she sat with me making shure i drank all of it she told me to go and sleep she talk to us in the morning We felt at home she came and ask us if we need a cup of tea we all took the ginger tea this was my first time drinking that tea she took us out almost every day talking about saving money she let us get deal every buy e make we save we went to pot royal we stp by some beach our way we eat jackfruit bananas coconut jerkchickn and lot more F i have th money i would go back and do it again the money we had left over we gave it to her for the children workshop this woman is an angel that help us and lot others thank you Dayasheba tell your husband i say hi and thank

This is a shabby "B & B" minus the second "B" I stayed here two nights and was never offered AM breakfast. The place could use a professional cleaning from top to bottom. The TV in the room never did work properly. The internet connection was spotty. There was an A/C unit in the room but it didn't work. The ceiling fan did but the overhead light did not. There was no hot water. The shared, downstairs shower/bathroom and kitchen were disgusting. The private parking was a hassle b/c you had to get out of the car, unlock the gate, drive through, then relock the gate. The guy in the lobby was helpful.

Me and my japanese girlfriend stayed here after reading all the good reviews lets face it your looking at this place because your obviously on a budget!!! Don't complain then if its not 5 star!!! You want 5 star look for 5 star!!
This place is really like your own home in jamaica!
We soon as we entered the property we were greeted warmly by who I called auntie (she will be like your auntie.. :-) and get husband danny will always be helpful and show you around the room was clean ac fan even had a huge bbalcony if you get the house when nobody is booked you basically have the whole house to yourself, all our questions answered with love and care!! Its worth the cheap price and you get to experience the reaal jamaicanot a tourist site.. Auntie and danny went above and beyond to make sure we were happy and safe!
You want regret it! For your money!
