Good Breakfast, but the room isn't clean enough

When I discovered the duvet, there were many dirty spots on bed sheet.
I had to call room service to change the sheet.

After he leaved, I discovered another duvet on the second bed.
What I found was blood (like period) on the sheet.

Well...it was not a comfortable experience to sleep in the room...

Perfect location for a perfect tourist!

Wonderfully located between the beach and the Kenting nightmarket, both about five minutes away from the resort. Staff were very friendly and cooperative. The shower conveniently has plastic-saving shampoo and body wash dispensers inside the showers, which is really awesome for those who don't like wasting the small plastic bottles. Recommended place to stay!

Comfortable resort hotel

We booked into this hotel with a group of friends and were given rooms facing the grassy knoll rather than the ocean. They rooms were large and comfortable and there was a free bus service into the town area. However, there were no facilities at the hotel for a small snack and drink in the evening.

Located on the west coast at Kenting, we stopped here for an evening during a cycling tour of Taiwan. The rooms were excellent with balcony views over the ocean. Out time was limited but we did manage to make use of the games facilities: snooker, 10 pin bowling, table tennis to name a few.
Dining was excellent as was the breakfast.
The rooms were clean and roomy and staff very friendly and courteous.

Pleasant Family-Oriented Resot but with Some Kinks and Areas for Improvement

We stayed here for three nights. Below is a summary of various aspects of the hotel and the stay:

- Location: It is located on the main highway in Kenting (Taiwan Highway No.1). Be aware that unlike several other large resorts, it is not that within convenient walking distance to the “Kenting main street” where a lot of the shops, restaurants, street vendor and night life activities are located. The hotel offers a shuttle to the main street in the evening time. It is a <5 minute bus ride.
- Transportation: The hotel offers once or twice daily direct shuttle service (either via passenger van or mini-bus) to and from the Zuoing High Speed Rail station for hotel guests at no additional charge, but advance reservation is required. The trip takes about 2 hours. Alternatively, you can also catch the Kenting Express Bus (runs about every 30 minutes I believe) and the final stop in Kenting is at the foot of the hotel. The trip takes about 2.5 hours.
- Check In: Check in was ok but there was some confusion as to how many complimentary meals were included; it was sorted out eventually. Also, I had a piece of luggage sent directly from the Taoyuan airport to the hotel. (costs about USD8.00 and it arrived the next day). It had actually arrived and was accepted by the concierge desk the day before we arrived. When we checked in, I was told they had not received any luggage some internal checking. It was after I called the delivery company and confirmed the delivery did the hotel staff finally realized that my bag had arrived the day before. No-harm-no-foul…but a little annoying.
- Room: The room is spacious with two king sized beds which we combined into one. We had a room on the first floor with ocean view and a small balcony. The view was great and noise (from the pool or the hallway) wasn’t really an issue. The room felt a little dated but was clean and big enough for everyone to move about freely.
- Hotel Facilities: There is an outdoor pool and a separate indoor water spa/pool area. The kids really enjoyed the pool area. But the age of the facility really showed as some of the floor wood planks in the outdoor pool area had become uneven and loose. For the indoor pool area, there was pretty serious water ponding throughout the floor when people were using the facility – both of which created potential safety hazards. There is also a small gym and a kids’ play room. Both appeared to be clean visually but we did observe a cockroach right above the drinking water station.
- Dinning: Breakfast was included and the breakfast buffet offered a nice selection of western and eastern items. The variety was good and I enjoyed the eastern items. The restaurant had an expensive view of the ocean.
- Staff: All the staff that we encountered were friendly and courteous.
- Summary: Fullon is a pretty large hotel group in Taiwan with about 15 properties across the country so you can expect a certain level of standard. Our stay was enjoyable overall, but this hotel certainly had some kinks and areas for improvement. I believe they should really take a look at the condition of the pool areas since those can be potential safety issues.
