What People are saying

Cheap, clean, fine

Matt Bon 17/11/2016 19:09

Been there once on a conference at the UAM University. The place is really good. We had b&b which was fine - swedish table, all you can eat. Was wondering if I could be back and maybe when I'm back in Poznan I'll go there. The only minus was that the windows would not open, but maybe it's been changed.

Ok, but...

The hostel is OK, really quiet as it is in a 7th floor and there was no much people in it. Rooms and bathrooms were clean although the light in the bathroom was constantly turning on and off. The access during the night is right in front of a strip club, which was not a big deal but it didin't give a good image to the hostel. Close to downtown.

Overpriced hostel

Hostel is near the Old Town and the staff is very friendly. Unfortunately there are the only two advantages of it. Bedclothes are clean, but the quilts - not so very. Rooms are very small and some of the bathrooms are unpleasant. At night you have to enter the hostel using the back door, that is near go go club.

Great hostel in Poznan

If any budget travellers are looking for a great place to stay in Poznan Poland, I wholeheartedly recommend the Fusion Hostel. It is centrally located, very clean and has wonderful people working at the front desk, which interestingly is on the, 7th floor. Do't worry, there's an elevator. And if you happen to be in Poznan during the first weekend in June, room rates are 50% off.

Overpriced for what's on offer

MichalKaleckion 26/07/2010 23:26

I visited Poznan after many years away and stopped over at Fusion. I got offered a single room for 99 zloty, but it was not a single room but a 4 bed dorm with me the only occupant. There weren't any chairs or desks there so I had my laptop resting by the window whilst sitting on the bed. There is a breakfast on offer but it was poor in quality and being of Polish background I was particularly upset about the poor quality of ham that was served. It made a mockery of Polish small-goods traditons. There is a common kitchen with a combined TV room which people also try to use as a work space for their laptops, because the singal in their rooms is poor, this in turn leads to conflicts regarding the volume of the said TV. Also there are annoying sensors in the bathrooms which an crap way to safe money. The reception is all female and easy on the eye. Shape up or half the prices.
