Breakfast was fabulous, a good night's sleep and a step back in time for us (disclosure here - my wife's family lived here 200+ years ago - so we had to stay & check it out).
But - Margaret does everything she can to ensure you are comfortable - Thank you Margaret.
Cheap & cheerful

The room was overcrowded with doilies & clutter & furniture. It was like basically being at my nan's house whom I love very much but she has a big QVC problem.
It was exactly how it sounds on a farm & the brekkie was lovely but for me personally I wont be returning for work, as the links to Plymouth were not as good as I thought they'd be on the map.
I wanted to give 2 stars but upped it to 3 as the owner was a lovely lady and i wouldn't say it was poor by a long shot. It just felt i was staying at my nan's place. However after staying in a few other places now I can see its not as good as what else is out there. But definitely a cosy little place
Don't be put off by first impressions

A bit off my track, doing the South West Coastal Path, I approached the front door with some trepidation but on entering was given a nice welcome and shown to my very clean, comfortable room. Full English the next morning was excellent. I can highly recommend for walkers.
A very pleasant stay

Stayed here for 2 nights in August for a wedding at nearby Langdon Court which was within walking distance. The setting is very tranquil despite being only a short drive from Plymouth and there is more than enough local pubs and eateries in the area to complement the excellent freshly cooked to order farmhouse breakfasts available every morning. Margaret the landlady was very welcoming and helpful during the entire stay, the room was clean and comfortable with tea making facilities and free wi fi available for all guests. Overall I would highly recommend this guest house to other travellers.
Lovely location, very quiet..

Firstly let me say this is a working farm, for those who don't want animal noises or the occasional farm smell don't book of if you do book don't moan afterwards.
Right now that's out of the way, let's start.
We wanted a location close to plymouth, that was quiet and as a bonus on a farm. This place fitted all the boxes so we did book and what a find, up a very narrow road this farm is tucked away, it a true farm, the type I remember as a child. We were quite late in arriving but all was fine and we had room 2, which looks over the front garden and part of the farm. The room was very clean and it was nice to find a true B&B. Toilet and shower also spotless.
How well we slept with the now and again mooing of the cows, and best of all silence after the cows had gone to bed and no light pollution, it was lovely and dark. With no aircraft flying over at all it was great. So a fab location. Margaret the host was a lovely lady who works very hard, well done to you. Breakfast was great and tasty. Another well done. In all a great time and we would stay with them again. Keep it up it is a true farm B&B .
