Great budget hotel

This hotel is really good for budget travellers. It is about a five minute walk from the metro that brings you quickly into town. From the outside the building looks like any other in the area, but the inside is really nice. The rooms have their own toilets but separate showers and the showers are fantastic - great water pressure and warm! The hotel staff are all really nice and despite their lack of English skills managed to communicate easily with me. They were very helpful and gave me an abundance of toiletries, which made my stay great. They were always happy and smiling!

Modest Appearance, Warm Atmosphere

I chose the place for the price as well as availability of rooms for three (travelled with my friend and her kid). Our room was modestly furnished but very clean, and had all we needed (i.e. comfortable beds, a fridge, a sink, and a WC; these types of rooms are the cheapest ones, and have no showers, so we used the shared facilities on the first floor, which were also very clean and had very hot water). Breakfasts were included in the price, and they had something new every day (something hot, like pancakes or chicken breast, then some sandwiches, and cookies to go with tea or coffee); we stayed for 3 nights, and had to leave at 6 am, so they prepared our breakfast in advance and put it into the fridge upon our request. We really felt that all staff members care about their guests - they will wait for you when you come back at 3 am to buzz you in, and will check you out at early morning.
They should be located close to Lomonosovskaya subway station, but I had a rental car, and it took me around 20 minutes to drive from there to Moscovsky railway station in the morning (no traffic but some construction work on the riverside) and about 35-40 minutes during evening rush hour to find them when arriving. No problem with parking, one can always find a place on the street even if the lot in front of their entrance is full. The area is quiet and safe. There's a 24/7 convenience store right next to them.
Definitely a value for money, will surely stay again.

Ideal for a cheap St.Petersburg trip

Hotel has nothing spacial. What you get for your money is a room, a bad and a shower. And it was just enough for us because we came to the hotel just to sleep at night. The food is not so good, can be considered just for the breakfast. It is an ideal hotel if you plan a trip to St.Petersburg and do not want to give much money for the accommodation. By the way, walking to the nearest metro through the very beautiful streets of Petersburg takes apprx 10 min.
