Good Hotel!

Hotel is near the centre, 2 minutes walk.
Room is simply but clean.
Positive : There is bidet in the bathroom.
Negative:Too much warm.
Breakfast: we left the hotel very early in the morning and i couldn't try it.

i'd like to admit that service at this hotel is really good...reception, restaurant - girls did their best. Thank you for that. I wish you'll finish your rennovations quickly and will be more modern and up to date.

Great potential but nit good at the moment

We stayed at this hotel for one night over weekend. It's reasonably priced compared to other large hotels in Poltava, however, it doesn't meet expected Reikartz standards which we appreciate in other cities of Ukraine. Rooms are worn down. When booking, I asked to give us two best possible rooms as the hotel was not full while photos also didn't look quite like what I expected. We ended up with broken mattress and smelly room and shower. Sheets were very clean. Breakfast was mediocre. Very nice friendly staff and great location next to all the restaurants, pedestrian street and main square, very central. They are renovating (joined Reikartz network just 8 months ago) so hopefully it will improve soon.

Needs New Carpet and Renovation

We had reservations to stay in this hotel and here's what happened. The first room we were given had an extremely dirty carpet and smelled slightly musty.

The room level we had selected was their standard room so we figured that they probably had some better and cleaner rooms and we might get one if we asked.

So we went back to the reception desk, asked for a different room and were given the key to another room. This room did indeed have cleaner carpet, but unfortunately it had the luggage of other guests in it. Fortunately they weren't there or we might have frightened them.

So we locked the second room up and went back to the desk and decided to stay somewhere else.

This hotel was obviously once a high end hotel. For example the bathroom had a bidet and the woodwork on the room door was lovely. The location is great (close to the pedestrian shopping areas).

My suggestion to the owners is to renovate all their rooms including the "standard ones" and this will once again be a great hotel.

Great little hotel

Super clean and spacious rooms. Centrally located within easy walking to metro and the walking street (where the shops and restaurants are). And affordable. Can pay to Park or just park across the street for free if you have a car. The staff was very friendly too. Not much in Poltava so your choices are limited anyway.
