Tanupamon 11/07/2017 06:26Though situated at a very strategic location, this place has gone to the dogs. It is a very very old building, that has extremely shabby rooms and facilities. The doors are weak, walls damp, windows broken, toilet seat soiled and dirty (that was probably cleaned few years ago), big hole on the floor, dirty linen, smelly blankets/bedsheets, creaky bed - you name it and you'll have it!
Could have been an excellent budget stay property if maintained properly, but sheer negligence and lack of interest on part of the owners have made it terrible. There are no restaurants in the Motel.
The valley veiw has been blocked by a new "failed hotel" behind the property.

profabpatilon 16/01/2017 09:10I had booked two rooms at GANAKA motel Igatpuri for one night. We stayed here on 8th January 2017 for one night. Let me share my experience with the TripAdvisor community. Initially positive points followed by negatives.
Positive:
Just 100 meters away from NH3.
The rates are comparatively less (around Rs. 1000 for AC room).
Good hill/valley view from room.
Negative:
Badly needs overall maintenance.
No toiletries were provided (not even soap)
Initially no towels were provided and when insisted for the same then towels were provided which were not even washed after used by previous occupants.
No restaurant available/attached to the hotel.
It was so lonely that we were the only occupants in the entire hotel all rooms were vacant.
Very limited staff are appointed and they seem to be illiterate.

Ali_Molaion 22/07/2016 17:01There's a new hotel which blocks the view if the valley. Considering the price its worth it though. Only stay here if you plan on using the room to sleep. Rooms are a bit musty and bedsheets look like they have seen better days.
Worst Motel in Igatpuri
Trendulkaron 15/04/2016 22:06Although the motel is situated at a very beautiful location, the quality of the rooms offered and customer service is terrible. The rooms did not have any door locks, bed-sheets and other items were worn and torn/rugged and there was no food service available. Completely unsafe for travel with your family.
A very average motel !

Location : The location is fantastic and the valley view rooms have an amazing view .
Rooms : The rooms are very average , not very well maintained and the toilets weren't very clean either . But if you're on a road trip and want to settle for a budget accommodation , i would still recommend this place over any other budget hotel .
Food : There is no restaurant facility available . However , the hotel serves cold drinks and mineral water . Tea / Coffee in the morning was made available for us .
Overall , a very average accommodation , not too bad but considering it to be one of the very budget hotels in the town , it will be every back packers first choice .
