Nice family hotel

Lovely hotel bice friendly staff very good location for families with children. Five minute walk from the beach. The food on hotel was good as was vegetarian they would clarify menu with us and if needed would make us extra dishes. The hotel has a sister hotel with water park which is great. They clean hotel rooms every day they have Air Con which is needed when travelling with youngsters. Indoor friendly pool for children. The location is excellent for families with young children as the beach has a kids club every 45minute session children can enjoy for Free bouncing castle sand pits water fun activities and the crech takes full on signatures you can sit outside the kids group and see your children have fun. The hotel offers loads kids shows you can use the sister hotel called grab garbi park. Dont listen to negative reviews. The hotel keeps bathrooms nice and clean.0

We booked this hotel all inclusive for a week as a cheap get away.
We got to the hotel around 1am - wasnt very sure on the location as we had to walk and carry our 4 year old and luggage through part of strip- lots of drunk (merry) younger people, loud music etc - thought....oh crap! but once we got to the hotel check in was easy and we were shown to the restaurant for some food- basic - but having not eaten and having an hungry 11 year old we were more than grateful.
our rooms were basic but had a lovely pool view.
please note- the waterpark is not actually in the hotel- its a good 10 minute walk (with kids) up a steep hill, no good for pushchairs or people with mobility issues. Once you are there your all inclusive wrist band doesnt work but the drinks are relatively cheap.
The waterpark is great for the kids though, a nice area for the younger children where you can sit in the sun and relax whilst watching them on the waterpark. There is also a kids club in the waterpark hotel which my 4 year old used, they did bowling and arts and crafts.
The all inclusive starts at 1pm on your day of arrival and ends 1pm on day of departure- we were ok we left at 2pm but if your transfer is later in the day/evening you will need to consider what you will do for food and drinks - as they you wont even get a glass of water!
Hotel staff were lovely- take them with a pinch of salt, they may come across funny etc but its just their manner once you get to know them they are really nice and you can have a joke etc with them.
We were woken by noise in the night between 3am-6am - kids slept through it was just us adults- it was only people passing through on way back to their hotels.
Kids loved the Karoke.
Overall an enjoyable holiday, probably wouldnt be in a rush to go back to the resort, but if it was another cheap deal at that hotel I would....you get what you pay for.

after reading reviews and dreading this holiday I was pleasantly surprised we were welcomed by reception staff
Room was adequate we requested a quite room which we got
it was exceptionally clean
we used the water park which was great for my 5 and 9 year old
staff were all approachable and we really did enjoy our stay thankyou garbi park

Where to start with this hotel? If you read my other reviews you will see that I am a very fair person and try to see the best in any situation but really struggled with this hotel. We had to book this hotel on the day due to an issue with an apartment that we booked that wasn't available so had no chance to review previous ratings. We paid nearly €200 for 1 night - I would struggle to say it's worth that for a week.
We arrived very hungry at 8.30 in the evening due to previously mentioned issue with appartment impacting our day and asked if the restaurant was still available as we hadn't had the chance to eat - the response from reception was 'It shuts in 5 minutes. No'. Nice friendly welcome!!!
After dropping our bags and finding a local restaurant to eat we returned at about 11pm ready for a good nights sleep!!! My sons bed had no sheets and the air con wasn't working so we called reception. To be fair, someone knocked the door within 5 minutes but he wasn't on a white charger, more like a bulldozer! After sliding the door and pressing the reset button on the A/c unit about a dozen times a huge smile came across his face as it fired up. As far as he was concerned, starting up a decrepid system after rebooting many times was success! No apology that it wasn't working until this facade had been played out. But it only got worse when I asked him about my sons bed - off he went and came back 5 minutes later with sheets, which he proceeded to throw on the bed. When I asked if he expected me to make the bed he said it want his problem - he was security and maid should have made the bed. I asked him if as a customer it was my problem and he walked off out of the room! I followed him down the hallway and took the lift to reception to find him speaking in Spanish to the receptionist, who was also part of security!!! Suprisingly he had the same attitude, eyeballing me for daring to challenge that security should make a bed up!!
In hindsight I would have kept my €200 and sleep in the beach with my family rather than stay in this 'hotel'.

We have come here on a long weekend! The hotel is nice and the rooms are very clean, the all inclusive is pretty basic and not worth the price you pay to come! The security staff at night are so rude! The first occasion we was coming in and the lifts are very small so we asked someone to wait the security guard came over to us very rudely and told us to stop screaming which was not what we had done! On another night we decided to have an early night and come home as we left the lift a door banged and he started speaking to us very rudely in Spanish when we weren't to know the door was to bang and if we did I'm sure we wouldn't of let it! I felt as there weren't very many English in the hotel we were treated differently by security and not in a very friendly manner! I might add when this happened the man was going upstairs with a woman! I found the bar staff very friendly and the people in the restaurant. However I don't think I would stay here again and certainly wouldn't bring my children!
