Clean and tidy, but has outdated facilities and attitudes

To start with the positives, the room and hotel in general was clean and tidy and the breakfast was fine, however possibly partially because of a failure by our trip organiser to inform them that I was vegan, they didn't have anything suitable to eat for vegans and virtually nothing for vegetarians either. It is trivial to cater for both of these groups yet they didn't even have basics like rice or pasta that they could use to adapt their food to make suitable. Apparently they don't do this because "they don't have any vegetarians staying" - which statistically is frankly a bit ridiculous to suggest, and they even suggested that they would have to make the whole place vegetarian in order to cater for vegetarians - again, somewhat ridiculous. Also, the wifi only works on the ground floor, which could easily be improved with a few cheap bits of kit. Unfortunately I wouldn't recommend this establishment because of these problems (particularly the unhelpful attitude towards food) since every other establishment I've used in this area (including a couple of private houses and the pub in Ringsheim) have been so much more helpful and welcoming.

Hotel close to Alsace Wine Route, Europa Park and Black Forest Attractions. The Hotel is very clean and has a very good breakfast. In the evening rooms may become a little bit warmer in summer peak season.

I booked this Hotel because of proximity of Europa Park and price. We had a family room for four, that was ok. Clean room and good beds, clean bathroom. The breakfast is good, fresh fruits, good german bred and lots of other choices, meat and cheese. Nothing to complain, a good 2 star! The owners are very friendly and the restaurant serves regional specialities. EP is 15 min away. Freiburg 30 min.

Nice hotel

We stayed in this hotel for one night travelling home from Italy. The rooms are basic but clean. Staff is friendly and breakfast is what you would expect. There is a nice Thai restaurant at 2 minutes walking distance. We would book this hotel again if we need a stay over hotel again in this area.

Lovely hotel

Lovely Bavarian style hotel. Staff were friendly, had a meal there which was very good. Stayed one night, good location. Booked a twin room, which had 2 beds together and 2 other single beds. The bed was comfortable. Room huge, loads of space for luggage, a wardrobe and reasonable lighting. Bathroom was very big and clean with nice towels and bath mat, toiletries, a shower and a bath. It was all very clean.

Breakfast was very good with lots of choice. Juice tasted very weak but the bread was really crusty and fresh. A wide variety of cheeses and cooked meats.

It would have been perfect but for 3 things: no wifi at all, free or otherwise; no hair dryer in room and no full length mirror, yet there was adequate wall space for one.

However would strongly recommend this hotel.
