Lovely guest house
256Chrisfromkenton 22/04/2016 09:47Great spot to stay in a cute bavarian village close to the Austrian border only an hour and a half drive threw the mountains to the Italian border great region and lovely locally sourced food in the hotel with beautiful nature and lakes alk in the local area, great in the summer and also in the winter for skiing.
Can't wait to go again!
McDeeTXon 19/07/2015 18:00We only stayed one night on a way to Austria and Italy and needed a place to crash overnight. I truly wished we could have stayed longer. Our friends' little girl called it a "fairytale".
Room was spotless, service excellent and the food quite good. We had dinner out on a patio, and also breakfast in the morning. Although we are not big breakfast people, trust me, there was enough to hold you over till late afternoon.
WiFi worked great, there was plenty of parking. wonderful place!
Comfortable hotel with fair food
The_French_Canuckon 24/04/2014 10:02on our way to schloss herrenchiemsee, I decided to make a detour to enjoy a bit more Bavaria and its mountains.. and booked this place .... I should have done my research better... it is in a middle of a village and did not have the cachet i was looking for.. room was fine and comfortable.. did not have a regular window but a sky window..Ate at the restaurant and food is fair. staff was extremely helpful and nice..still have problem with German providing single mattress to couple with single cover sheet/blanket.. they really do not like couple to cuddle!
Exactly what we were hoping for!

This wonderful place cost exactly one fourth the price of our (favorite) hotel in Vienna. The room was average sized, charmingly decorated and spotless. The bathroom was small but very modern with a gorgeous shower. Wonderful down comforters and pillows and perfect mattresses exceeded our expectations. Best of all was the outstanding kitchen, with simple but very fine food - a real find!
A nice tipical Bavarian place
Valentin Bon 12/06/2013 07:23We bookt a night in and found a tipical Bavarian house run by a family. Rooms are decorated traditional but the bathroom are up to date with everthing you need . Te brekfast is good with products for family traditnal shop. I think that in the winter the place will be perfect for thouse who want to spend a special vacantion.
