Very good hotel
Gioca662on 13/05/2017 13:49Very good little hotel in the middle of the green hills. Very close to highway, it could be considered like a very relax place before or after an hard work day. Not more 20 minutes driving to Fulda. Good rooms, free parking and wifi. A good restaurant in the same building (not possible add the bill to the room). Friendly hotel

Traditional german-style inn, with fully renovated room. Free wifi , parking & good breakfast included in a very reasonable price. We had also a very good dinner where you can choose from wide range of German food.
We got confused making a wrong online reservation. Upon arrival the owner not only found a nice accomodation for the three of us but didn't charge any penalty for our mistake. Indeed very appreciated honest behaviour!!

Great food, excellent location
Martin Son 21/06/2016 22:34Our party of two families stayed one night on our way down to Italy. Very conveniently located in a tiny village just off the A7. We had a lovely dinner - the food was just great, and moderately priced (main courses between 7 and 17 euros). The local white wine was lovely. The home made Hagebutten (nypon) wine tasted a bit like sherry and can be bought in the small shop just by the reception. The service was excellent. The beautiful little village was perfect for a nice walk after dinner. Breakfast was very nice, with scrambled eggs to die for. Would have graded higher if the WiFi had worked (didn't work at all for iPads and iPhones, just for lap tops) and the rooms had been larger (our family rooms were quite small, but very clean and tidy). All in all, we would choose to stay here again if in the area.

Very welcoming and comfortable
Patricia Won 29/10/2015 14:16We only stayed one night on our way down to the Black Forest. The staff were friendly and welcoming and the room was comfortable and clean. We ate dinner in the hotel and it was good quality and reasonably priced. We would definitely go back. Apparently it's a good area for walking. Dog friendly too!
Quick stop going back home
Olof Eon 14/07/2015 19:34The Gasthof was a pleasant surprise, it's a bit old school but it's all part of the charm of the hotel. We as a family did a quick stop on our way home and got a spacious room with individual beds.
We enjoyed a very nice meal in the evening. The kitchen close at 9pm and I strongly you find time to eat in the restaurant. Very good german food (exactly what we were looking for) at affordable prices.
Everything was nice and clean and it's well worth a visit. As someone mentioned, a refrigerator would be welcomed.
