Minimal Gasthof
Pony_Upon 03/07/2017 23:26Room furnishings are worn out and falling apart. Central staircase to access guest rooms is also side entrance where all workers smoke, so smell fills the stairway. Included breakfast was extremely minimal and not refreshed through the 2.5 hours of service. Good location, but there are plenty of other gasthofs nearby. Try somewhere else.

There are plenty of friendly places in this delightful town.
Typical Bavarian Gasthaus, better than average but not (yet) very good
epicureantomon 03/05/2017 20:57Decent food, local specialities, good beer, nice waiters and nicer waitresses. Good and substantial breakfastSmall old time Gasthaus rooms. Center of Partenkirchen across the street from the church within walking distance of everything. The rooms are decent.

pschulte07on 28/04/2017 13:57This isn't coming from an actual visit, but I booked through Hotel Info and accidentally booked two months ahead of time. I attempted to ask for a rebooking through Hotel Info and they sent a message to the hotel when they couldn't get ahold of "the boss". 4 days later I had Hotel Info call again and it was the same response that "the boss" will get to it when he can, but it was noted that the receptionist was not kind (or helpful).

tingting qon 17/04/2017 09:28We had a lunch in the restaurant, it was in a nice building. The food was OK, but unfortunately the waitress was absolutely unfriendly to the customers. Never had such bad experience. Never again. There are plenty of nice restaurants and friendly people in Garmisch-Partenkirchen.
