nice central b&b
Martin Lon 20/08/2017 16:54B&B is in a very Central Location and a very nice Restaurant in the same street. Very friendly host. Rooms were nice and clean. Only challenge is the parking, there is a private parking nearby but also open air, meaning not closed like a parking house.
DONT rent on weekends
popperroxyon 15/01/2017 23:53We arrived late on Sunday night to lovely stay inside a beautiful building. What was to end in horror!!!!!! As much as Id like to give it a 3* the whole point was that the hostess knows that the club across the road bans on until 7 in the morning. And it LOUD. when I want to stay in a room, apartment hotel its meant to be for sleeping otherwise I would pay the money I gave B & B partying all night. The owner/hostess knows that there is noise from the club, because she told us she has called the police numerous times, so they are aware. To top it off, not that we had a wink of sleep, we had to vacate at 10 and pay for the room. Either dont rent out that particular room that faces the street across the road from the clb and make your patrons aware. I realise its business but you should be fair and honest. Aside from that the room is beautiful and clean ad instructions to get to the apartmet is easy.
Very nice B&B at perfect location in Catania
Wouter Mon 30/10/2016 14:47We stayed in Catania for 5 nights and had a wonderful time, partly thanks to the good advice from this B&B's hostess, Gabriella. Every morning at breakfast, she helped us plan our day and gave some very useful tips about visiting Catania, Taormina and Syracusa and about the Etna. Would recommend this to anyone visiting Catania for a few days!
Red alert!!
Avj61on 22/10/2015 07:32Be aware 2 nightclubs , one under you and one directly across the street. We stayed here on a Sunday night and the noise finally finished at 0330 when the roller doors went down. We had an early departure next morning so hardly any sleep. The music/ noise was extremely loud. Thank god we had only booked 1 night!!!!
I don't know if this happens every night, thank god I don't live their and I feel for the neighbourhood. Can't comment on breakfast as we left early.
Good stay
gijs don 04/10/2015 13:05Had a nice stay in Gem De Luxe, with a friendly staff and right in the middle of the city centre of Catania. Our room looked nice, clean and with a great artistic style.
Breakfast was not very special, but just fine to start the day.
There was some noise from the street on one evening.. And you can hear people in the other rooms.
But all in all a good stay for a good price.
