We (Mother and daughter) stayed for 5 nights in October 2017.
All hotel staff were lovely staff.
We arranged tours (volcano and islands) with the hotel travel agent.
Clean facilities and room.
Excellent value.
Short taxi ride into old city (10,000 peso/£2.50).
Nice pool area.

Came to Cartagena for holidays and try Corales de Indias hotel because of the pictures they have in their website.
The hotel pool is perfect for kids, water playground that our children loved. Adults Caan relax and also be close to the children at the same time.

The room is good and the ocean view is great, BUT checking in takes a VERY LONG time! We were second in line and waited 25 MINUTES!! They are SO SLOW. I would have given 5 stars but because of the terrible check-in I gave 3 stars.

I had a standard room. It was kind of small but I was because it was compartmentalized in a weird manner. It looked nice and clean. The bathroom is in a separate area, which is nice, but the shower was way too small! The room had a balcony with a nice view of the beach.
The breakfast buffet was decent, although the selection isn't that big.
Internet was reliable but not that fast.
I liked the hotel and I would recommend it.

I stayed here for three nights and this hotel is in a good safe area. The rooms are ok but dated a little. The breakfast is ok. They do charge for everything so ask before you do anything. We had two friends visit us at the hotel and they wanted to use the pool with us. My girlfriend let the counter know they were here and they wanted to charge us $85 for the guests to use the pool. Who has heard of this? Of course we didn't go to the pool but they said they already charged us and could. It take it off. Wow! When I checked out it was taken off. The beach is walking distance but not very nice. We did get to watch some fishermen drag nets for a catch. That was cool. The pool is ok. It is reasonably priced I would say it is just an ok hotel.
