Great view!
Kkoharaon 18/05/2017 04:23We enjoyed our beautiful view of the river and city. We could see the Tokyo tower and on clear day was able to see Mt. Fuji, but was blocked by a building. Staff was sometimes helpful, depending on who we spoke to. Wifi was horrible, did not connect. Breakfast was a set meal, you could choose Japanese or American, both were alright. This hotel was not flexible on which days I could use my breakfast tickets. Far the Ginza, since it is the Chuo area. Had to take subway. Small bathroom and room size.
big rooms great view
mike mon 07/05/2017 03:08My son was having knee surgery next door at St Luke's hospital so that was the main reason for this hotel choice. Typically would not have stayed here given the lower rating. While it may be a bit dated the room was large with great views of the river/bay. So I think the rating should be higher. Also booked on booking.com for the rate and ease of use. Staff was very friendly though English not so good.
Much to improve
MikeCMelbourneon 25/04/2017 15:40I booked this via a hotel booking site because the hotel's own website was really hard to understand. I requested for early check in as i will be arriving early morning after a long night flight.
When I arrived at the hotel, tired and desperate for some rest, the man at the front desk flatly said no. Check in is at 2pm. There were people who were checking out next to me. Couldn't they just try? Try, I know this is not guaranteed but at least try. Many 3 stars hotel i have been were willing to at least try and were usually able to get me a room though they may not be ideal eg smoking room or two single beds.
Good things about this hotel:-
Tall and you get a good view of the city
Located in a quiet neighbourhood next to the river and a hospital.
Within walking distance to Tsukiji fish market.
Wifi was reliable and easy to use.
Not all the staff were as unhelpful.
Room was decent and they provided a massage chair
Bad things about the hotel:-
It is a long way to walk to Ginza.
Breakfast didnt taste too great.
Limited choice.
Front desk that didn't even try to find a room. This is a big negative mark.
Great View of Tokyo Bay and Ideal Location in Ginza
John Son 24/04/2017 16:00This hotel has great views of the Tokyo Bay. Check in is on the first floor but the actual hotel rooms are high up on floors 32 thru 38. The view of Tokyo is awesome. It is right next to the river flowing into Tokyo Bay. Lots of wonderful windows from each room to see the beauty of Tokyo. Rooms are very clean and new. Bathroom is ample size with all the amenities of a five star hotel. -- The hotel staff is extremely helpful and THE PRICE OF THE ROOM IS A GREAT VALUE. - This hotel has taxis waiting to take you the short ride to the main Ginza shopping district. It is also located not too far from the famous Tokyo fish market and restaurants are every where. -- This is a great choice of a hotel and it is priced at a great value.
Wonderful view, skip the breakfast!
Camila120428on 14/04/2017 02:49We enjoyed our stay in this hotel close to tsukiji market. The rooms were spacious although I would suggest the massage chair be optional as it takes too much space. The view from our room was great with the bridge especially in the evening. But I would suggest to skip the hotel breakfast as there's limited choice and there are other better options outside the hotel. The front desk staff were mostly good but the staff in the dining room with a few exception were not up to par.
