Hotel villagio is a perfect place to have peace in south goa. I with my family enjoyed staying over there. Service provided by the hotel is same as staying at your home. Staff were really nice people especially i do remember Mr Mihir Chitroda in the service staff. Thank you to all other people for making my holiday memorable.

Extremely comfortable stay at this family friendly resort

Hotel Villagio at Betalbatim in South Goa is perfect for people who like peace and quiet on their holidays. The property is a resort with family and child friendly gaming activities, swimming pool etc and the beautiful Betalbatim beach only a 10 minute walk away. The staff do everything to make guests feel at home. While all the staff was extremely friendly and helpful, I would like to make special mention of the superbly warm and efficient hospitality provided by Ms Stephanie at the front desk, Mr Shyam and his colleague in the karaoke room and Mr Mihir Chitroda in the restaurant. The range of food and beverages provided was superb as welL. This is my fourth stay in this property in the last six years and it only seems to get better. A bid kudos to the manager and his team. Keep it up!!!!! We will be back soon.

Absolutely worthy staying here. nice place Great experience.. hospitality at its coolest best.. all staff pretty sincere and polite.. had a great stay .. choose this place and have a blissful holiday experience.

A Happy Re-Visit

Re-visiting a resort can sometimes be dicey especially if your earlier experience sets up the expectations.
In general I had good memories of my 2013 visit, what stood out during that stay was the enthusiasm and commitment of the chef and restaurant staff in general. This time around I was expecting a more or less similar experience at the Villagio. And that is how it nearly played out.

The first impressions remained intact, welcoming, clean and orderly reception area. The check-in was efficient and courteous. Ever smiling and chirpy Ms. Rakhi went through the drill with enthusiasm. The doorman cum bellhop, a helpful guy, got onto the job super quick and had us settled within ten minutes.

The Studio apartments were spacious, clean, reasonably appointed and had most amenities barring a microwave. The studio rooms were equipped with a sofa cum bed, split air conditioner, cable television, mini fridge, electric kettle. The studio had a bare balcony attached, a couple of chairs and a small coffee table would have been appreciated. The furniture, furnishing and tapestry had started to show signs of aging but were maintained.
The bedrooms contained a double bed flanked with side tables, a closet with an electronic safe, and a solo work desk. The mattress was comfortable, with clean linen assuring a good night’s sleep.
The bathroom was spacious, clean with the general resort toiletries provided; the shower had good hot and cold water pressure for back to back baths.

The only downside was the food, which was just about tolerable. Not wanting to sound harsh but it was a rookie attempt, with a very limited repertoire that drove our business to other establishments.
I mean hey, it was off season with very low occupancy. Mr. Resort manager please wake up, F&B spells revenue.

Barring the food experience, it was a good stay and I wouldn’t hesitate going back once more. It’s got great location, Betalbatim beach close by, great atmosphere and spacious clean rooms.

Just the right place for a person like me

Having stayed at Sterling properties in the past, I found the experience consistent. Conveniently located, Betalbatim beach is just a short walk. Martin's Corner is 5 minutes drive. Got a warm welcome on arrival. The staff provided an overview of the property and the amenities. The room was spacious. However the in-room lighting can be improved. It was just a bit dingy. The breakfast spread was good. The Spa services need improvement, and the Spa center needs a facelift. Contrary to the purpose, the spa chair gave me a backache. They just installed an elevator, should be functional in a week or so. Overall a very comfortable stay, excluding Spa.
