ok ok good for a short stay

well we arrived quite late to srinagar at 1 am and we checked in at this hotel. the houseboat condition and rooms are not bad and the tv i saw is kinda old fashioned. we had a great experience and gave us omlette and the servers were great

We had a great experience with Golden Lily Group of Houseboats . We dropped a mail to them asking for an airport pickup. We called to confirm. Manager Mr Sameer, confirmed receipt of email and mentioned she couldnt respond due to internet issues there. He also took down our request verbally. Pick up was spot on.

The boat had a lake side sitting area. We were able to sit there for a long time enjoying the views. This being in Dal lake, there arent too many hawkers disturbing you.

The caretakers Riyaz and Tasif took great care of us. Even when we were retiring to our bed, Riyaz showed us a spot where he would be sleeping and we can ask for anything that we may need during the night.

The food was very good. We enjoyed some Kashmir specials- starting with Khawa and extending to Kebabs and Rista.

Due to a last minute change in our plan, we had to check out early next morning at 7 AM. Without any hesitation they said breakfast can be served at 6.30. We just asked for basic toast and eggs, they offered parathas as well! \

Manager Sauket also ensured that the cab we had requested came on time at 7 and we were able to leave on time.

Overall a memorable experience.
