Business travel so Saida / Lebanon
Tugba Aon 18/05/2017 13:48I was in Saida last March for business and chose GT-JM because of its location. Asit was winter time, there was nobody at the hotel, especially when i go down to the breakfast hall,i couldn't find anybody to order smth. and the food was poor. This was my second time, my first stay was excellent 2 years ago, but what has happened in the recent 2 year and why the hospitality was this much poor, still do not understand.
A normal hotel for a HIGH PRICE

Clean, They have Spa.
The breakfast buffet is normal (I dont eat a lot in the breakfast), but the menu to dinner and lunch is very poor.
- For a portuguese guy, the coffe is to far away of the quality of our expresso, and the taste is horrible.
- They charged us parking fees.
- The internet is very bad.... and the internet in the pool they ask for money....

Very clean, especially the Marina Spa (with the indoor pool, Jacuzzi, sauna, Turkish bath, etc.). The breakfast buffet was very good (they do manakish and omelets).
They give you towels for the beach.
However, few things were missing that didn't allow us to rate this property 10.
1- Once you check out at noon, you have to pay again to spend the day at the resort. A policy that we haven't seen anywhere else in the world.
2- They don't offer a courtesy room as in other resorts around the world for 30minutes to shower.
3- They charged us parking fees.
4- Not very well organized staff (each member of the staff has a different answer to the same question).
5- The wifi wasn't up to the level.
This place is worth visiting and we will definitely come back again.
Memorable, neat family friendly recreation area
Martin Zon 28/04/2017 15:08The family visit during Easter was a nice and memorable experience. The Hotel and Jiyeh Marina Resort accommodation are perfect for single persons, couples as well as big families due to its spacious annexes with bed room, living room and kitchen, incl. large balcony.
The staff are all very efficient, forthcoming and polite. The restaurant is excellent (sea food and other dishes delicious, wine of good quality) and the breakfast buffet in the hotel complex well maintained with a great middle eastern variety.
The sandy beach is nicely arranged, nevertheless, the season apparently is just about to start, and the swimming pools were still empty at our visit. The rest of the facilities are about to get ready too. The WiFi was quite poor and only available in the hotel and reception area. The piped water in the shower rooms and kitchen (faucet) was slightly salty, probably due to the water well closeness to the sea shore, i.e. sea water may infiltrate the water system. Thus, to brush teeth [...] bottled water is advisable as well as for the preparation of coffee and tea.
Excellent place and service
manarlandis .on 25/04/2017 01:22We rented 3 chalet for family reunion. The place is big, clean, and has great view. Each room is spacey with comfortable beds and big living room. Cleaning service is very good. The Restaurant is super yummy. Breakfast is buffet which has the best food. The beach is very clean and well taking care of. The staff is very friendly and extremely helpful. We decided to stay at Jiyeh marina every year for family reunion.
