Comfortable stay
Nick Won 19/08/2017 10:40This was my first stay at the Golden Tulip and I found it a very nice comfortable hotel. When we arrived there was a bit of a problem finding our booking but eventually everything was sorted out. My room was excellent, very spacious and I couldn't have been happier with it. On the first two nights we ate in the restaurant. The food was good, though the service a bit slow. The final night we ate in the bar and I have to say I preferred the atmosphere there, it was quiet but not dead. Breakfast was fantastic! We had a couple of power outages while we were there but these were short and I'd been warned beforehand. I would say if you are in business the wifi was slow and several times my laptop was unable to access it, the bar seemed to be the best place for a connection though.

Voyager81977on 16/08/2017 19:48I think this is a hotel which offers very comparable service to luxury hotels internationally. I felt very welcomed by an extraordinarily competent and polite staff. The food at breakfast was an excellent start for the day and at dinner it was a welcomed treat after a long day of work. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The temperature is well controlled in the building and set at a very comfortable level. Internet is available, it is limited to 1 GB a day so you have to conserve it for emails and such which is ok. There are areas of weak Wi-Fi reception within the hotel especially in the conference room, however the rooms were ok , I was always able to connect in my room. All in all this is a lovely hotel with nice grounds and a lovely pool, its greatest asset is its staff ( thank you all from front desk to the service staff to the restaurant staff) I enjoyed my stay very much. Exceptional.

LICIA Don 16/08/2017 12:13:( The carpet in the hotel smell really old and moldy. The first room had badly stained showers. Breakfast was chaotic, crowded, dirty floors, uncleand tables, and no clean coffee cups. See photos :( !

Kevin Son 14/08/2017 16:40I am currently working in Kumasi, and often go to Tulip for lunch and today I visited there and met my wife for Lunch Atlantic fish fillet with mash potatoes 50 minutes!!! the potatoe was almost cold and the fish warm. we waited that long for the food we ate it and asked for the manager just to express our comments and after waiting again no one came so we left. will not be eating there again
Good hotel but be a bit careful with the billing
Winzofon 15/07/2017 18:55I stayed there twice and must say that the rooms, the general ambiance and also the food are quite good. My only major issue is that during both times there were little issues with the billing and a colleague of mine experienced something similar. Therefore, I suggest to (a) compare the rate the hotel offers you via email or phone with the one online, (b) have your reservation confirmation with you when settling the bill and compare its rate with the final invoice, (c) compare also the exchange rate mentioned at the confirmation with the one used for your bill.
