Golfbreak in the French Jura
Hans110on 23/06/2016 12:35This is a golfhotel, with a nice golfcourse just outside the hotel. For non-golfers it is probably not an attractive location. The hotel itself and the rooms are decent, but some upgrading would not be overdone. The hotel has a nice restaurant, bar and terrace. The food was a little disappointing, the variety as well as the quality. The staff is very friendly and their command of English is sufficient. The hotel has an outdoor swimming pool with stretchers.
The golfcourse is certainly worth playing and at certain holes offers a splendid view over the surroundings. The quality of the greens is ok but very slow.
Comfortable and Relaxed
SPD2014on 08/10/2015 10:56Stayed here one night for business. Arrived late and so couldn't appreciate the beautiful location. I could hear water flowing which made it very peaceful. The rooms are basic but comfortable although not having a shower screen on the bath/shower was not perfect. The restaurant provided a very nice evening meal and the breakfast was also good. The wireless reception did not seem to reach the end of the hotel were my room was located which was unfortunate. Worked well in restaurant area.

Comments-JBBon 26/05/2015 12:48We often go to this restaurant and we went twice in May in the space of about two weeks. The first time the food was excellent - the meat was tender and tasty - and the wine was good. The service was as good as ever.
The second time was really not at all good. The first course was good as were the desserts. However my husband's steak was not tender (he had the same the time before) and my lamb was tough and, although it said 'with estragon' on the menu, I certainly did not taste any. The wine, a Côte de Beaune, was very strange, with rather a taste of vinegar than wine. The service was good.
The food in this restaurant is not always as good as it should be. I don't know if they have different chefs on a jour ferié, as the second time we went in May it was Whit Monday, but this should not play a role.
Extended weekend
Michel don 04/11/2014 14:26The Jura was a new area to us and opted for the place since they had a good offer online. We stayed over the weekend arriving on Friday night, for which day the dinner was included in the rate. The menu was a choice on each of the three courses and very decent. We enjoyed a fruitful local white wine. The service was quite attentive however not very professional.
The room was very spacious with a good and comfortable bed (we don't like it too soft). The bathroom was only equipped with a bathtub and there was no curtain to retain the water from spraying all over.
The area is super quiet and amidst the nature.
The hotel personnel is very friendly and helpful.We can recommend it for people looking for a quiet and remote place not looking for fancy services and luxury.
It does well deserve the 3 stars it is rated with and the rate we paid was a very good bargain.
Comfortable golf hotel in a tranquile area
SlabbyBelgiumon 08/10/2014 19:57I recently stayed in this hotel while being on a business trip together with colleagues.
This 'Golf' hotel has certainly some good credits. There is a good parking area, the entrance is welcoming and has a golf shop for the golf addicts. The rooms are comfortable, have a good size, a view either on the golf course or the green area in the backyard. During the summermonths this venue is probably a haven for golflovers who also know to appreciate the regional gastronomy. The restaurant is known for its culinary suggestions. With a normal stay there is a marketmenu available which is quite OK but you like some of the suggestions they will prepare it with a smile!
This is definitely a hotel worthwhile a stay while in the region and for the golflovers there is an 18-hole golfcourse with a very beautiful scenery!
