Loved our visit with Goodwin Manor!

David and Janice are wonderful hosts and the home is outstanding! We purposely looked for a B&B over a hotel for our 1 night stay in the area and were so pleased with Goodwin Manor. Lots of history and a cool little downtown with shops.

David Kopp and his wife were outstanding hosts during our impromptu stay at Goodwin Manor. Our hotel in Aiken, SC had just been cancelled the week before the Masters and we had nowhere to stay. Through a few connections and Tripadvisor, we were able to reach Mr. Kopp and he was able to accommodate three beds for us for two nights.

The house is wonderful and accommodations are first rate. The 900sqft porch was a highlight to the trip. As Mr. Kopp commented, "All the worlds problems have been solved on this porch, if only people would listen." My father, brother and I had a great time. The breakfast was excellent!

When we return to the Augusta/Reynolds Plantation area, we will definitely arrange another opportunity to stay at Goodwin Manor.

Great Night at Goodwin Manor!

My husband and I had the pleasure of enjoying a night at this wonderful bed and breakfast. We were the only ones staying in the house for the night-the owners have a home right next door. The home is so well-maintained and has a great history. The owners take great pride in making sure everything is perfect for their guests, even if there are only two. We enjoyed meeting and chatting with the owner, David, as we checked in and over a scrumptious breakfast. We're so glad we decided to stay for the night-wish we had stayed longer! Can't wait to go back!

My wife and I were in town for a wedding and this looked like a great little spot to stay. It is very cozy and welcoming. David and Janice the owners were such great people and really went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. My wife was sick so Janice went out to the store to get her some Sprite and fruit so that she would feel better! Real southern hospitality. If your ever in and around the Greensboro area this is a must stay B&B

Beautiful home with everything you want. If trying to make online reservations on some websites we learned they do not always show correct availability. After seeing was sold out, we called to check for any last minute changes only to learn they did have rooms and online sites were wrong. So glad we called.
The rooms are big and well appointed with full bathrooms. Great exterior and interior with proper upgrades for modern comfort without losing the past. Great porches (we spent hours relaxing with a few glasses of wine enjoying conversations with the hosts).
After reading other reviews from people who chose to stay here for the Masters or events at the Ritz nearby, we understand why this is certainly a smart choice. This certainly is an excellent wedding or special event venue, but we simply enjoyed weekend getaway. Just a couple blocks walk down Main Street to shops and restaurants. Enjoyed dinner at Yesterday's Café (see review) and a wonderful breakfast at the manor.
If you are a reader, the parlors are perfect to relax and read or enjoy the front porch rocking chairs. Fast wifi included was helpful as well. David & Janice are excellent hosts who grew up in the area and full of helpful information. We recommend Goodwin manor and look forward to a future stay.
