Old hotel, average location
phoebe716junon 18/07/2017 07:26I was informed by the taxi driver that this was an old hotel and changed its ownership. Looks like it is more than 10 years old hotel. Dirty old carpet, stain on the wall, unevenly painted wall, unpleasant smell in the room.
Location: just cross the street then you can reach the beach. On the other hand, you can't go anywhere without taxi. Unless if you don't mind walking 6-8km to the city center.
Crowne Plaza Resort
Arkycrkon 28/06/2017 19:24Just spent nine wonderful days at Crowne Plaza Resort in Sanya, China. Very hot and humid. Stayed in a suite, couldn't been any nicer!!! The beach is small but clean. My only complaint was the staffs English proficiency, they tried very hard , just not very successful.
Large Tropical Maritime Resort
ABRP2014on 21/06/2017 20:499th Floor 1 bedroom suite with private balconies overlooking the South China Sea. Air conditioning welcome relief to high June temperatures and humidity. Large well decorated high-ceiling public spaces. Excellent international buffet breakfast. Pools and terraces laid out in lush tropical gardens. Well serviced resort hotel. Some English spoken.

lloyd bon 29/05/2017 12:47We were attracted by the brand and were not disappointed. The rooms were well appointed and the lobby spacious made melodic by strolling minstrels. The breakfast was really expansive and tested my advanced buffet techniques; how many different tastes can one absorb and still walk away feeling light? Swimming pool was perfect for an evening stroll and gym had a few usable machines. The fabled 24/7 honking did not disappoint. It gives this city a unique aural patina. See if you can remain cool in the cacophony.
Just what I wanted!
dbradcolemanon 28/05/2017 18:29My sole aim for this trip was to rest, relax and rejuvenate. This beautiful resort was exactly what I needed! The rooms were spacious, beautiful, well equipped and quiet. Comfortable soft beds, gigantic bathroom with round walk in shower. Good sized balcony, with large outdoor round tub. Huge pool complex surrounding the property. Adequate fitness center. Just cross the road to step down to the beach, or to take a bus to downtown. Room service is quick and accurate. Housekeeping was absolutely fantastic and attentive to our needs, always regarding well the Do Not Disturb sign on the door, even though the interior do not disturb button did not work. Maintenance was also quick to respond when there was an issue with the hot water. The only 2 things I could really say something about being not quite right, is that the all day dining restaurant didn't really seem to be prepared for all day dining, as food delivery was very, very, very slow. Hot meals often delivered before salads. Also, I had emailed the property in advance asking about airport pickup. I still haven't received any response. However, those 2 small things aside, I'd still give this property 98%! Well done!
