X9734OXchristianlon 27/08/2017 09:04Yes, location is perfect, and there is still a remainder of old grandeur. But the rooms do not meet expectations; beds are of poor quality, the bathroom is very small, and the reception staff is arrogant.
Best place to stay when in Ljubljana.
kak1998on 26/08/2017 16:11We had a wonderful stay at Grand Hotel Union. It is within walking distance to many of the attractions and main square where there always seem to be a festival of activities for all to see. The staff was gracious, the breakfast had such a wonderful variety for everyone and anyone depending on tastes. The serving staff would bring us cappuccinos and were attentive to our needs.
We are very pleased with this hotel not just for its location, but for the staff that is professional and gracious.

it was the best hotel except parking lot.
loction, room, kindness, clean condition is very good.
but if you have the car, you shoud consider staying.
parking lot is very small so you can not fing vacant lot.
Great hotel for business and leisure in the city-center of Ljubljana
Karin Non 24/08/2017 22:58The location at the beginning of the city-center of Ljubljana is very nice - you can walk around after a business-meeting and enjoy the culture as well as the vivid city-center with state of the art bars and restaurants. Very friendly staff that speaks English fluently. Try a dinner at the restaurant "Atelje" that belongs to the hotel - atmosphere, service and food were amazing!
A special tipp: Use the valet parking service as the parking garage is most of the time extremely occupied and the parking-spaces are very small (especially for larger cars).

David Gon 24/08/2017 22:20Arrived quite late due to delayed staff. Note the two different sections of the hotel which caused us some initial confusion, soon sorted. Helpful staff recommended suitable places to eat. Rooms modern and comfortable.
