A home away from home

We stayed 4 nights at the Sebel Pinnacle Valley Resort from the 9th to 12th July. It is situated in between Mount Buller and Mansfield hence there is no need to elaborate too much on the convenience of the location. This is a perfect place to relax and also to have some quality family time after a tiring day up at Mount Buller. The entire resort is very well maintained. The chalet #3 which we stayed in was ideal for a family of 5 which comprises of, 2 adults, 2 teenage children and a toddler. The amazing experience of The Sebel Pinnacle Valley Resort started even before we set foot on the property. It started when a call to the Resort on the 7th April 2017 was answered by Alisha. She gave me very sensible and practical advice with genuine professionalism and enthusiasm. I made the decision to book the resort after the pleasant experience of talking to her, a decision which I did not regret. Meeting Alisha in person on the 9th July was something which I had been looking forward to. We left The Sebel Pinnacle Valley Resort reluctantly on the 13th July with beautiful memories of the resort and Alisha's warm smile.

Great base for the snow ❄️

My husband and our 2 grown kids stayed for a week in a 2 bedroom apartment. The things liked included, lovely gas fireplace in our lounge room, the size of the main bedroom and large corner bath. The onsite ski hire shop, ability to get nice takeaway coffee from the hotel foyer in the morning, the reception readily printing out our park passes each day. The wildlife ( lots of kangaroos) are always around. It was very peaceful and quiet despite being at full capacity. The hotel
Gym is well equipped. The things that I didn't like were that there was no washer/dryer in the apartment you had to walk to the main hotel to do laundry which was however complimentary. A bit of a pain. There is a small drying room in the apartment for ski gear but we just used a drying rack in front of the fire. There are limited cooking utensils. We brought our own crockpot and toasted sandwich press. Recommend you get groceries in Mansfield as there isn't much around the hotel. The wifi in our room Also sucked and we had to go to the hotel foyer to access it. The configuration of seating in the lounge room was very limited Service was great throughout our stay.

Great Resort and Excellent staff

We spent a week here with two children, grand parents, great grand mother and two uncles.

We had rooms and a chalet which were well appointed and equipped. A great environment with lots of activities to do on site (even though we were there as a base for being at the snow)

The team were simply a pleasure to interact with and nothing an issue - special mention to Scott, Alex and Oliver.

What can I say

Sebel, you outdone yourself again.
The Alpine touches to the hotel make the experience complete, with modern decor, spa and sauna, open fireplace and facilities abound. Tennis, basketball, mini golf, rowing and canoeing.
It's a perfect place as a base to Mount Buller (30 minutes away) or just stay there and relax.
It's great for Families.
Keep up the good work

This hotel is located about 20mins drive from Mansfield city centre. Easy to get to as it is along the same road to Mt Buller. Hotel is another 30mins approx. to Mt Buller's Horse Hill car park. Making this hotel very accessible for visitor going to the snow! Hotel is located on a little hill and offers a picturesic view of Merrijig. You will also see the local fauna around if you are lucky. The reception/restaurant is located a short walk away from the main building and chalets.

We stayed here for a few nights in a one bedroom apartment. This apartment is fully self contained with a full sized kitchen and facilities. The room was spacious with a washing machine and dryer. The bathroom was very new and practical. Love the dining area na lounge as well. The apartment was very new and well appointed! It comes with an extremely comfortable bed!

Great resort and highly recommended to everyone!
