Efficient 4 Star
farmgirl430on 12/08/2015 11:54This hotel is all you could want from a 4 star--it's clean, quiet, located near a great shopping mall, with a good Chinese massage spa next door. It is no frills. The room service was good, the staff was very pleasant and helpful. Even though the lobby smelled a bit musty the rooms didn't smell at all. The beds were comfortable and the AC worked well too. This hotel is a great value.
A Very Good Stay

The best part was the bang-on location; right in the heart of the down-town area with many restaurants, coffee & ice-cream parlours & convenient stores in the vicinity. There is a big mall (injoy) right opposite which is a good place to spend the evenings after work.
The rooms are big & spacious and tastefully done. The housekeeping & room service guys are also very helpful. One call & your job is done.
They have a very good breakfast spread, keeping in mind the international standards.
Overall very satisfactory. Definitely recommended.

Although I have a choice of 5 star hotels in Changzhou, I alway come back to the Zhongyou/Conifer for one simple reason. The people. From Sonny in the 25th floor lounge to Sherry, the charming and friendly hostess of the White House restaurant, all employees make me feel welcomed and go out of their way to deliver 5-star service. I am from Chicago and like many other US travelers, I often find it difficult navigating through the language and foods inherent to Chinese culture. The people at the Zhongyou make this transition easy and always a pleasure to stay so many miles away from home.
I consider the Changzhou Zhongyou International Hotel one of the finest hotels in Jiangsu Province.
