Poor location for tourists. Ok if have car.
Barbara Aon 29/03/2017 08:14Hotel furnished in old style. Bed was a 4 poster and drawers were large. Overall they seemed too big for size of room. Bed was very comfortable. Noise levels quiet with window closed. Breakfast ok. Full toiletries provided. Hotel was in industrial area and hard to find. Entrance is not like the feature picture, more like down an alley.
Grande Hotel a great choice when on a business trip in Celje
info kon 29/01/2015 21:23Grande Hotel appears to be an ideal choice to stay in while on a business trip in Celje, Slovenia. Room was a bit tiny, but the sleep was great. Staff was very friendly. They prepared a breakfast to take away for us. The price of 50 euro was a reasonable expense.

chemmi214on 28/02/2014 11:01Easy to get, parking place available, a bit "vintage" but generally has everything it may be needed for short stay. Huge Mall at walking distance, with all available. No internal elevator in case of heavy luggages.
Charming hotel with great service in an odd location.
ShaneGBon 17/09/2013 22:11The location of this hotel is very strange and we struggled to find it at first, but once you walk through the front door you realise its something special.
Full of old world and forgotten charm the first impression was of a beautiful vintage hotel, and when we opened the door to the room both myself and my girlfriend were thoroughly impressed. It was like stepping back in time but will all the modern comforts close at hand. The decor of this hotel is really something special.
The service throughout our stay was great, the staff were always friendly and always helpful. The breakfast was well stocked and the food was all very fresh.
The location was perfect for as as we were attending a nearby basketball game and the huge shopping centre over the road was a bit of a bonus. But the setting of the hotel being hidden beside a car dealership was very strange.
As someone else mentioned in their review the taxi fares are very cheap so its very easy to get to anywhere you want to go without a car, though having a car is a bonus with lots of things a short drive away such as the old town, the castle and some great restaurants.
We really loved our stay in this hotel, we have travelled a lot in the last year and this was one of our favourites.
cosy hotel in commercial area
cristianadjcon 23/12/2012 14:36The hotel is near a Car dealer and a Shopping center, very close to our goal, the Fair trade center, for the dog show. Cosy and stylish furniture and paintings both in the room and in the common areas. Rich breakfast included.
The Pet policy is not clear: at the reception, we have been asked for € 50 of caution for 2 small dogs in the room, besides an extra of € 10 per dog per night... really too much for two small dogs, sleeping in kennel boxes.
