Great Views & Location w/ Beach Not Good For Swimming
Sylvia Oon 11/05/2017 14:04The location was great in that there were many eateries and stores to walk to and if you were up for it, a longer walk would take you straight into Georgetown. The condominium was nice too. It had everything you might expect in conveniences. The beds were okay. The grounds were neatly kept and the pool and hot tubs were clean and spacious. We were on the first floor and had an ocean-front property, which was nice because we had direct access to the beach and viewed the sunset every night. We definitely would recommend THAT. We didn't enjoy that the beach didn't offer much for swimming since the island is on a coral rock, most of the island's beaches have more rock than sand. Grandview's beach wasn't the exception. It was nice for snorkeling, but not for swimming. Take water shoes if you plan to walk along the shore and in the water because these rocks are SHARP and jagged. A neighboring hotel setup a boulder parameter and cleared the rocky edge and debris as to allow their guests a larger beach to swim in, but there are private property signs posted everywhere. I wouldn't go to Grand Cayman Island again, simply because I wasn't blown away, but if I did, I wouldn't stay in this condominium complex mainly because of the beach. GREAT WIFI!

slugg072on 08/05/2017 17:07we stayed here 3 nights, and loved the place, and the location. We stayed in Cayman many times, and liked this better than any other place we stayed ( Marriott, Days Inn, Sunset house etc). The place is not totally vacationers, it seems many units are owner occupied, so you really have the run of the beach, pool etc. The unit was lovely, the kitchen was well equipped, and if there was an issue, they had somebody there to fix it. Had free wi fi. Yes we hope to stay here again.

on 26/04/2017 02:45We stayed in condo 632 and it was very comfortable and spacious. We had two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Plenty of room for the four of us to relax and cook most of our meals. Plenty of dishes were provided. The Beach area was sandy but a little rocky. We walked north a block or two and found the famous 7 mile beach. Most times we were the only ones in the pool. Very quiet in the evenings, no loud parties. We were able to see the cruise ships when we were on the beach. We really enjoyed our visit and would recommend this place to couples and families. No elevator on site but there are ground floor units available too.

TamiBrianon 22/04/2017 01:18We had a group of 8 (4 adults and 4 teenagers). This was ideal for us. 3 bedrooms. Living room, kitchen, dining area and plenty of outdoor seating overlooking he ocean. Very nicely maintained inside and out. Pool and hot tub were not crowded but were very nicely maintained and we enjoyed using them at the end of the day after the beach or diving. Would highly recommend.

pappas70on 05/04/2017 04:38My family just returned home from Grandview Condos today. We had an amazing vacation! The Grandview is fantastic for a family that wants more of a private feel! No crowds, plenty of great people and kids. The staff is so amazing! They went out of their way to make our stay perfect!! We will return!!
