What People are saying

The Grand Budapest Hotel

Michael Kon 27/06/2017 05:11

This hotel reminded me of the hotel in the film The Grand Budapest Hotel. A place that's 'of another time.' I RECOMMEND this hotel. An amazing value. Kinda' worn, but very clean, very generous breakfast, really charming 'welcome' basket, when you arrive, an indoor pool, fast elevators, nice sheets and blankets, lots of parking, convenient location, good room air conditioner, quiet (I was on the 7th floor), good shower pressure and hot water. Front desk was helpful and positive, with a capital 'H,' and a capital 'P." The other guests in the hotel will probably be sort of ....................Runyonesque, but if you want a clean and comfortable room, with free parking, and a breakfast that will save you a substantial amount of money (for a family) this is the place for you. I'd certainly stay here, again.

Alright Hotel

Bathroom looked outdated, but all in all it was a good room for a good price. The breakfast was good and staff was very friendly. The tub did not look clean all the way, but then realized it was permanently stained.

Worst experience, EVER! No wifi, curtains wouldn't close, light shining in room all night, ....

Kim Aon 20/06/2017 14:11

Had an early morning appointment with at Children's Heart Center. Drove 3 hours, after making reservations and was met with waiting 45 minutes behind 2 girls that were arguing with the staff about a deposit, and not wanting to pay it.
Then we went to our room and were unable to connect to the wifi. Front desk attendant continued to tell us that it was our devices and that "Some will connect and some won't." We had 4 devices... 2 iPhone's, an android tablet and a windows laptop... and NONE of the devices would connect. He did mention the business office suite but we just got done driving 3 hours for a very stressful appointment in the morning and all we wanted to do was relax.
The Hotel advertised that they were newly remodeled, yet the rug was ripped and the bathtub looked like it was from 1843 with the metal showing through. The hair dryer didn't work and none of the outlets would hold a cord as they weren't tight enough to hold a charging brick for my phone. So I had to plug my power brick in and prop it up until it charged, and then used it to charge my phone.
Once we were ready to settle into bed, we went to close the curtains and were unable to as they were basically just decoration and the shears did not meet in the middle. We were on the 5th floor so I wasn't worried about someone looking in per say, but to have some privacy would have been nice. Then there was the great light that shined in our (unable to close curtains) window ALL NIGHT LONG!
When I mentioned this to the front desk, all they said was "Oh, I'm sorry." In the morning, I mentioned it again to the front office staff and was told, again, "Oh, I am sooooo sorry."
So between the wifi not working, unable to charge my phone in a wall outlet, the ripped carpet, nasty looking bathtub, no nights sleep because it was like daylight in there... I would have to rate this as the crappiest night stay, in a hotel in all of my 50 years.
And all they had to say to me was "I am sooooooooooooo sorry." Pathetic! Not worth the money!

Do NOT use Booking.com

tryone2on 19/06/2017 16:21

I didn't get to stay at this hotel because Booking.com overbooked by about 300 rooms, so I had no place to stay. Customer service was nice, as it wasn't their fault, but that didn't help the situation.

Great Value!

Armenius919on 16/06/2017 05:07

I've stayed at a lot of hotels and for the value, this was the best. I paid $65 with taxes for 2 queen beds. The room was spacious and came with a fridge, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, and a little bar area with a sink and real dishes. The indoor, heated pool is beautifully decorated and looks impressive. It included a full breakfast buffet and we also received a gift basket upon checking in that included a 750 ml bottle of Pinot Grigio.
