Clean rooms
Angie Jon 16/09/2016 22:35Good hotel if you don't want to pay expensive prices for other surrounding hotels. It is an older hotel, but it was very clean. One of the things we wanted to be sure we had was wifi, which the hotel has, but it had poor reception in the room we were originally given at the back of the hotel. The family owned hotel staff was very accommodating and moved us to a room that was closer to the main office (which is where the wifi originates from). Would stay there again.
Never again
Ashley Won 16/08/2016 21:15Never again will I stay here. We stayed for two nights and it was rough. The beds were small, couldn't get any of their free wifi in our room, the cable kept going out, the showers are not meant for tall people. Heck I'm 5'3 and my head hit the shower head. It definitely was hard to relax after a long day at a motel like this
Great Lakes motel
Bxj752on 10/08/2016 13:42Older place. Clean and ok. Not top level, but good for overnight.
Individual garage for each car is nice. Not next to hwy 80 and further in town. Each unit has a refrigerator with a freezer. Beds are comfortable. Quiet area and easy to get a good night sleep.
Good considering it is an old motel.
Ryan Fon 26/07/2016 02:25We booked this room because everything around Cedar point is extremely expensive and we were trying to go on a budget. Don't expect the world because this is a motel but it is a great place to just get a good night sleep. The only real downfall was that the room smelled like smoke but I figure that's a given considering the potential age of this place. It does have air conditioning which was great as it was a hot night. It also has a flat screen tv and free wifi. I would recommend it if you're looking for a comfortable bed to sleep in but want to save 50 dollars on the price you'd pay for a chain hotel and even more around Cedar point.
Simple but comfortable
theoccasionaltouriston 27/06/2016 00:29One of the few motels with rooms still available during a racing weekend, we stumbled onto this place through Tripadvisor. It was a small, very modest, simple place but comfortable enough for a one night stay. The room was a little musty and the furniture was dated but it had all of the amenities: clean linens and towels, adequate mattresses, complimentary toiletries, A/C, a fridge and microwave. The woman behind the desk was warm and welcoming. A bit out of the way from I-80 but much cheaper than anywhere else. Saved enough $$ to use to go out for breakfast at the local Bob Evans.
