arti ton 27/08/2017 16:00Very beautiful place with scenic beauty and natural surroundings. Staff is cooperative and helpful . Rooms were neat and clean and offer all facilities. Only suggestion is to bring more variety in complimentary breakfast.

Nishit Kon 02/07/2017 12:08I zeroed in on this resort after seeing the pics coz this is exactly what i prefer on my vacations, secluded location with great views and as close to nature as possible.
Let me assure you the pics do full justice to the place. We stayed here for 2 days (june end) and loved it.
The resort is located 2 kms before dhanaulti centre/eco park and the location is perfect. It has a slight dowhill approach but its easily manageable. Its well maintained and has been planned in a way so that each cottage has its own privacy. It gives you a feel of a homestay with all the luxuries you'll expect from a good resort.
The view from the resort is breathtaking. We had the good fortune of witnessing full monsoon magic in the hills. On clear days you can see snow covered peaks which we also got a glimpse of.
We were 2 couples so we booked the 2 bedroom cottage which was the best decision. The cottage is quite big and so are the rooms. They are well furnished including a dining table for six. The bathrooms which are the acid test for any property passed with full marks. We had cottage no 105 which i feel is the best coz its at the top of the resort and has a balcony with the best view. The beds are comfy.
Only criticism would be that the it gets a little warm inside so a fan should be there in the bedrooms coz you cant open the windows because of the insects.
The food was equally good, we had snacks everyday with our drinks and they were great. Main course one the 1st day was average which we told them about so the next day they gave us lips smacking dishes which we loved.
The only issue was that it takes a LOT of time for the food to get ready (they say coz its freshly made) so order well in advance.
Service was decent and prompt but they are little short staffed, a boy named maninder was doing most of the running around. He tries his best to deliver so kudos to him. They also offered to arrange bonfire for us.
I personally felt everything was worth the price we paid. Would live to visit again.
Expensive but still worth it
Soumen Non 06/06/2017 06:221. In one word, a wonderful place to stay and relax if you are a nature lover. We had this two-bed-room suit. It has got two wonderful spacious bed rooms, a drawing room, and a wonderful balcony. You can spend the whole day on this balcony savouring the view of Gigantic Trishul, Nanda devi, Nanda kot range. Its an uninterrupted view. And you also see the amazing valley down below.
2. This cottage costed me Rs.8K for each night. A little expensive, but still worth it.
3. The staff is courteous and very friendly. Suresh-Bhai and Mukesh-Bhai were friendly and yet not intrusive. Very helpful with punctured tyre of my car.
4. Food is good, but a tad expensive than that you get at Dhanaulti. But you get this food in the balcony, or right inside your bedroom.
5. A small courtyard with table and chair, provision for Bon–fire…. It was almost like a dream.
6. Adequate parking place if you plan to travel by car.
7. Small 2/3 kms forest walk possible from here. Wonder villages to be seen and experienced.
8. The location shown on Google map is wrong. The exact location is 2.2 kms further ahead towards Dhanaulti, right adjacent to “Camp Calista”. The owner should look into this and located “Green Forest Resort” suitably in Google maps. We had a terrible time locating this resort with a punctured tyre of the car.
9. Construction of a dining hall right on the central courtyard is really a bad decision. It has ripped the resort of all the charm it had. The view, the spaciousness, all ripped off. Please demolish it if possible. Its really not required.
10. Airtel does not work. So I had no mobile and internet.
11. This trip was done during the first week of June 2017. They informed that there are no heaters for the winters. Otherwise I would have come during the winters again.
12. There was a team of 4 couples with countless of children. They were very very noisy and polluted the environ with utter disregard to other guests. But I guess this is not the fault of the resort. So I give 5 stars.

Staff is nice & co-operative. Food was fresh & made as requested.
TV has English channels too, most hotels in this area don't.
Bed quality so-so. Rooms & common area are good.
Good for a weekend stay
Don't go in winter!
Legalmicrobeon 12/01/2017 09:20I stayed with my wife for a night during snow. I have stayed before here in summer time with friends. It seems that no adequate arrangements are made for winter contingency. Minus temperature and no heater running for night. Dirty quilts etc. Staff is courteous specially Prakash. Place is good to stay in summers but definitely not in winters!!
