This was the perfect place for us to stay during our recent visit to the wine country. Jerry is an amazing southern-style host, and delightful company. And his French toast is killer. My husband wants me to make it now! Bella Villa Messina is beautiful, and will be our go-to place now when we return!

This B&B, located quite certainly in the center of the Sonoma Wine Country, where the Alexander, Russian River and Dry Creek Valleys intersect, is fantastic. Not only is the location minutes from some of the best wineries, it is close to several beautiful wilderness areas and the Pacific Coast if you need a day off from the wine. Jerry and Harold are the perfect hosts, with a tremendous knowledge of the area, the history and the wineries. They are full of recommendations for wineries, other excursions and area restaurants and shopping. just tell them what you are looking for and they have a variety of suggestions, all of which I was more than satisfied with. Guests of the inn also enjoy some serious discounts on tastings thanks to the close business relationships that the B&B has with the area wineries. Such relationships also extend to the area restaurants, where my status as a guest of the B&B got me a table in an otherwise booked solid amazing restaurant. For the price, the room was luxurious, comfortable and a good value for people seeking a luxury accommodation. I would highly recommend a stay here if you want to experience the best that Sonoma County has to offer.

Paradise and Wine!

The word excellent is an understatement for this beautiful home. After receiving numerous recommendations, this one seemed special. Wow! This is an amazing retreat. From the moment we walked in and met Jerry, we knew this was something exceptional! Jerry and Harold are so accommodating and make each person feel special. The rooms are extraordinary. Each has a different theme, quite unique and comfortable. They know ALL the best places to go. All you need do is call and make your reservation; they will give you the best suggestions. Wine and cheese happy hour with other guests is really fun. And breakfast made by Jerry and Harold is more than we expected. Fresh fruits and delicious eggs and french toast. You will not be disappointed.

Excellent accommodations for a wine country vacation!

We had a wonderful experience at Bella Villa Messina for our wine country vacation. Jerry provided excellent hospitality for our 3 night stay. He had amazing breakfast spreads including a large array of fruit. His fresh baked bread was delicious as well. He then took the time to help us plan our day touring wineries. He gave us paper maps (cell service is sometimes spotty so this was very helpful) and highlighted wineries/areas of interest. He also provided complimentary wine tasting vouchers so most of our tastings were free or reduced price which was awesome! He definitely made sure we got to see everything we wanted to! In the evening he also provided wine and cheese/snacks while discussing our day on the back patio with breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains. Jerry would also call local restaurants to set us reservations for us which was very convenient!

Since not all the rooms were booked when we visited, Jerry even upgraded our room free of charge! Overall we felt like we had an incredible experience at Bella villa Messina and a wonderful stay in Sonoma wine country!

Ps Jerry had two incredibly well behaved puppies who loved to be with the guests and he also had two llamas on the property which was really cool and totally unexpected!

Overall we would highly recommend!

Best B & B ever

It's are 3rd time staying at Bella Villa Messina and as always, it was wonderful. We had two great breakfasts plus two fun happy hours with good wine, cheese and crackers. Jerry and Harold make you feel welcome, and keep the palce spotless. We stayed in the French room which is very comfortable. Jerry is very entertaining plus his recommendations for food and wineries is always spot on. We will stay at Villa Messina again.
