scalemasteron 20/04/2017 13:39My first choice in Vernon was booked full for the night. Being on per diem, I try to watch what I spend. I took a chance on the Green Tree Inn. Turned out not to be a "chance" but a "good" decision on my part. Very nice rooms, good wifi, hot breakfast, nice owner/mgr, it doesn't get much better. You're not taking a "chance" staying here vs one of the "National" chains.
Excellent Stay
thomasjd81on 11/01/2017 22:06I was driving back home where I started to feel sleepy on the road so I decided to stop by at this motel in this small little town. The room was great for the price. For only $60 I got something much more. The room was up to date and I can tell that they just renovated the room completely.

I was traveling home from Las Vegas, and decided to stop here at 4AM for a few hours of sleep before heading back on the road to New Orleans.
I was falling asleep on the road, and figured this would be a quick budget place top crash.
I asked the attendant if they had any rooms available 'Yes Many'. Was the answer I got. I asked how much for the night '55.00'. Okay, that doesn't sound back..
I give my card, and checkin. After getting my key Im told that I need to be out of the room by 11AM...
No offer of a discount due to the fact I'll be there four hours, or a half day rate. Standard at my hotels is a Half Day rate if the guest is staying for a short amount of time.
Amenities are non-existent and I received a room that was disgusting. I found dead bugs in the A/C controls, old food on the floors, and the toilet had nasty streaks in it...
I'd save a trip and stop somewhere else.
Not a B&B
Michael Bon 19/09/2016 05:25TripAdvisor erroneously had this listed this as a B&B. It is a nice motel just off highway 287 with a friendly receptionist, that provided a clean, modern room at a good price. Good overnight stopover. Restaurants next door.
A Pleasant Surprise!
Helen318on 28/08/2016 17:03Not fancy, but, for the price, excellent! Clean and comfortable! Good wi-fi, easy to connect; HDTV with DirecTV; very comfortable bed; very good coffee. Friendly staff. We would definitely stay here again, and recommend it to family and friends. Thank you for the lovely stay, Green Tree Inn!
