The budget hotel is about 100 kms from the Mangalore airport and just 20 kms from Basrur railway station. The hotel can easily be reached by the guests visiting via bus as the Kundapura bus stop is in close proximity from the hotel. River, food, staff, ambience
Rajeshnair2016on 16/08/2017 10:28WOW, what a holiday...we ( two families - 8 of us in all, kids included ) reached the resort on a Saturday morning for a long weekend - 4 days in all. The night drive from Bangalore of course had made us all very tired. The gracious and pleasant welcome made us feel light immediately. Some really simple but quality breakfast helped us feel fully back to normal. We were then taken to our villa and oooohlala - wat a sight it was.
A massive 4 bedroom villa awaited us. Really really spacious, I don't want to give u the dimensions because u must be there to feel it and enjoy it. The flowing river right behind our villa is a sight to behold. Never seen a natural water body so close to a property. We played in the river until late afternoon and then it was lunch time....I could go on and on , but lemme tell u that u must experience it yourself. I have to make a mention of the staff..i have been to many resorts around the country and have never felt or experienced more courteous staff. They never had 'no' for an answer. U know it was like u were at home and ur family only had ur comfort in mind. Deepa, Ishwar, Ratnakar, the Chef, housekeeping staff, the gardeners - everybody had a role to play in this amazing holiday. The kids had a great time- River, rooms, swimming pool, play area..fabulous. Our best holiday !!
Stay with nature
brijesh son 18/07/2017 09:14Its a very nice place to stay with friends or family if you are looking for peace of mind and complete relaxation. The property is huge with 16 cottages, reception building and a dining located between the dense forest which contain a lot of herbs and fruits. Saw very rare herbs there. Take the nature walk in the morning for sure and try if Ratnakarji can accompany you. Two very lovely waterfalls are located at a distance of 10-12 kms and are visible from a place very near to this resort. These waterfalls are about 2000-2200feet high and one can only reach them by walk. Rooms can be improved a lot. Try boating/rafting in the river.
Wonderful & Amazing
y2kdeepuon 01/06/2017 09:44The name is the replica of the resort perfectly. The resort is completely calm in the midst of the reserved forest. Its one of the best resorts i ve visited so far. we reached byndoor raiwlay station where the innova car was waiting for our arrival. Then we were taken to the resort which was around 12km drive from the railway station. We reached the resort at 10pm where we were welcomed with the welcome drink with a smile from the entire team. We were excited and a bit scared too as it was completely dark and we were in the forest area. Then we were allotted villa 7 which was maintained pretty well. We were amazed after entering the villa, for the way it was designed and maintained. Thanks to Mr. K P Shetty for wonderful idea. The staff gave us the brouchere which provides us the list of activities that are available in the resort. We enjoyed the variety of food provided. The food quality is hygeine.The chef and the stewerd will serve the food with a great smile with patience. The someshwar beach is around 12 kms from the resort. On payment of charges, the resort will take us to the beach. Kayaking, trekking to kosalli waterfalls is one of the must to do in the resort. The environment of the resort is so cool and pleasant, where we can easily come out of the stress and work pressure. The resort is highly recommended to the newly married couples, family and team outing. Best time to visit during sep - jan post rainy season. Seems a bit expensive but its worth for the luxury and services it offers. Hoping to visit again in the month of october.

well maintained place i can say. cool place and river adds more beauty to it , boating and fishing is also provided(depends on season).More than 20 acre of place surrounded by many trees. medicine plants, varieties flowers in the garden,birds sound gives you good peace of mind and water falls is also available near.
apart from swimming pool (was not that cleaned) everything else was too good.Nice place to visit.
