Decent price, decent location

Average would pretty much sum it up. It's not an awful place to stay, staff are friendly, our room was okay. The location is not great. Quite a walk to the subway station and there is not overly much to do in the immediate area. A coffee shop opposite and a couple of restaurants in the immediate vicinity, but not where you want to be ideally.
But you get what you pay for, it does the job, wouldn't overly recommend it but wouldn't tell anyone to avoid it at all costs either.

Next time we are going to Shangai it's sure that we will stay at Green Tree Inn. It´s opposite to bus station. Very kind staff in the reseption and room staff. The room was always clean and comfortable. Acceptable price.

Not Bad for the price but...

Small room, some strange stains on the walls and it is located far away from everything (20 minutes walk to the nearest subway station). In the neighbourhood there are no restaurants or any place to go out.

We paid 108 € through Hotels.com for 5 nights, but as we checked-in they asked me 70€ as a deposit. I don't know why the ignored the fact that we booked for 5 night and gave us the room for 4 nights only... their english ain't amazing... then I told them that I needed one more night so they asked for 20 € for deposit, I don't know if I'll see that money again.

Remeber to flush every single [--] otherwise you'll chock up the toilet in a flash

The overall impression is: crumbling.
