Good hotel with best location
Igor Non 24/08/2017 00:16We stayed in tis hotel overnight only, but location of this hotel allowed to see all Old City, the Dome and to spend several hours for shopping.
The room was clean and nice designed with view to train station and Dome. Furniture was with modern design and comfortable.
Breakfast was with really wide selection for such hotel class and tasty.
Will definitely return
Mary1012on 22/08/2017 22:58We stayed here for 3 nights last week. The hotel is well located behind train station. With S13/19 from airport the Dom sign posted to the front and the hotel to the back of station. Every street in Cologne is in easy walk. When we arrived in we met a very friendly and efficent man who introduced himself as Thomas and made conversation with my 7 year and always introduce him to all the staff at the desk. The hotel is spotless especially the bathroom. Pillows are too soft. With windows closed you cant hear train station as it was raining the temp was cooler as no air conditioning in room. Hoping to return for christmas market and well stay here again.
Reasonable Good Hotel but AIR CON needed badly!
chookyan31on 28/07/2017 07:49Stayed here for 1 night, as I have to catch a train to Frankfurt the next morning. Location of the hotel is just perfect, less than 5 minutes’ walk from Cologne HBF. All the staff I meet were very friendly and I was even allowed to check in early as I arrived from Bonn way before the official check in time. Was allocated a room on the 3rd floor facing the main road, surprising it was not very noisy as I had expected and I had the chance to see electrical buses charging its battery at the bus stop from my room. The room’s designs were modern and the morning breakfast was good and so was the internet. Only problem was for some reason all Bristol’s hotels only has very soft pillow, cannot get any cold water from the shower. Some of the famous landmarks of Cologne like the Musical Dome, Cologne Cathedral and Hohenzollern Bridge are all located within walking distance. Plenty choices of food in the HBF. Only set back was there is NO AIR CON in the room and can be very stuff in Cologne’s summer but the friendly staff will give you a portable fan if you ask. I don't mind paying EXTRA if there is AIR CON if I ever comemback next time.

citrusbugmanon 20/07/2017 19:24This is the closest hotel to the central station and there is a taxi rank outside the bedroom windows. I was therefore concerned that it would be noisy at night but with both windows shut it was quiet. There was a safe in the room that could fit a laptop but no kettle. The hot water fluctuated in temperature but was adequate. There were several English news channels on TV.

Having no a.c , we had to open the windows , cold not sleep.
We got a fan in order to cool off and close the windows
The reception hall ,... needs refreshing...
