Good budget option

This was by far the cheapest option we found while booking our stay, and we expected the worst. But actually, it wasn't that bad. Short tram ride or a 15 min walk from the station. Self service without a reception, so read instructions on the booking page carefully on how to get your access key, etc. Nothing too inconvenient.

Room was clean, bathroom clean and while bit small it was too bad. Super high speed Internet as with most places in Switzerland. We just needed a clean and comfortable room, for the limited time we would spend there, and it checked all the boxes.

If you approach the hotel from the north side you may encounter few adult clubs, but choose the shortest route from the main station and there is no problem.

Compact Apartment, great location, straightforward stay

Great location - 10 minutes from the main Rail station and easy to find. Straighfoward collection of the "key" with a code sent to us by email before arrival. We had a ground floor apt, which was a little noisy with other guests coming and going and it was a very compact "kitchenette", although a large fridge and even a dishwasher, just a very small seating area for meals! Large double bedrooms with TV's in both although we struggled to find any English speak children's channels so didn't bother. Free Wifi available which was great and easy to log on. The apt was not far from lots of Coop supermarkets selling everything you could want and right in the middle of many bars and quite a number of places to eat to suit all budgets. For a short stay (we stayed 5 nights) it was just right and a great base for exploring the mountains, the city and the lake areas around Zurich. Great price too.

An insect-infested hole in the red light district

Don't go. The pictures shown on booking.com for the "classic double bedroom" has nothing to do with reality. There wasn't any space at all. We are easy-going/not picky, but the discrepancy is outrageous. In addition, be prepared to step right into the middle of red-light district goings on, when coming out of the accommodation. Again, we're not squeamish, but it is alarming. I got told by a transvestite that they "didn't like me", and on our last evening, strolling home at 10pm, there was a full-on fight between two prostitutes in our street. If you're not deterred yet; the room was full of ants, yes at the beginning of May. Never again.

It was good but you must check below items
1. first dont miss to say taxi exactly the name of street we have mant swiss star apartmet
2. Bring your booking number for get the key via box there is not reception
3. Bring your mobile phone to get help from number and also wireless code via cell phone number it is vital!
4. Bus and tram is near to hotel and yiu can go easily go to center location is good
5. Some red light and bars near to apartment and at night it is not very good
6. The kitchen has all the items and dishes you can cook
7. Supermarket is near to hotel one street to left

Totally for low price and short stay is good

Location is fantastic, you can easily reach everywhere. I was worried about the noise according to previous comments but it was very quiet during our stay even though it included Friday night! Check in and check out was very easy and efficient. It was nicely prepared and clean. I would say kitchen needs some attention, it was lacking crockery and cutlery. Another thing needing attention is pillows. Overall it was clean and comfortable. I would recommend. Price is reasonable for Zurich.
